  • On the issue of using the Room library from the Android Jetpack suite and simplifying the development of mobile applications for Android

    Mobile applications today are a necessary tool for work, study, entertainment and communication with the entire information world. Every year, the requirements for applications are increasing, as well as the need for stable and multifunctional software tools that will be able to quickly perform the tasks assigned to them. Although most applications require Internet access to provide access to services, it is also necessary to ensure that data is stored on the device itself in order to allow offline access to data. To solve this problem when developing mobile applications, there are many different tools, but the most common is the Room library, which is included in the "Android Jetpack" package. The article provides a brief description of the functionality of this library. The work of all the main components with basic annotations is considered. The interaction of the main components of the library is also schematically presented and an example of implementation in a mobile application for the Android operating system is shown.

  • The use of a geothermal energy installation for heating private houses in order to develop green energy

    The article is devoted to the use of renewable energy sources, namely geothermal energy for home heating. Methods of installation, advantages and disadvantages of geothermal heating are investigated. A comparative analysis of the cost of 1 MJ of heat received from various energy sources was carried out, and the efficiency of using heat pumps for heating buildings was proved. It was noted that in connection with the global problem of greenhouse gas emissions, this decision is relevant and paramount for achieving hydrocarbon neutrality. The introduction of geothermal heating methods can be a huge step towards green energy.

  • About Nikolai Orem's Wayfarer and the zeta function

    The purpose of the work is to show the influence of the works of Nikolai Orem on the formation of the science of dynamics. Methods. The paper shows that the study of motion led N. Omer to the conclusion that the sum of the harmonic series, which gives an estimate of the traveled path of a uniformly tired traveler, diverges. This proved that the traveler would walk any arbitrarily long distance. The connection of the model proposed by N. Orem with the zeta function and similar paradoxical models in which the path turns out to be finite, despite the slowdown or acceleration of movement, is considered. Result. The trajectory of the wayfarer Orem is demonstrated according to the Riemann formula. Links to training servers with dynamic models animated in 3D graphics and built using the ""live book"" technology are provided.

  • Modern cybersecurity from the perspective of cognitive modeling

    In the article, the authors examine the problem of ensuring cybersecurity in the modern world in terms of the study of social practices. The implemented cyber attacks are analyzed, and the danger of hacker attacks is shown. With a fair amount of evidence, it can be stated that in the modern world, the risks associated with cyber intrusions can include the loss or disclosure of consumer data, theft or disclosure of intellectual property, as well as the loss of investors as a result of the theft of funds or a decrease in the market value of companies subjected to cyber attacks. It is concluded that cybersecurity is a constantly evolving landscape, and now there is an urgent need to constantly learn from both our own experience and the experience of other companies countering cyber attacks effectively, and it is also important that successful interaction with adversaries in cyberspace requires a constant pursuit of a tactical, operational and strategic initiative.

  • System for predicting electricity consumption in food production based on streaming data

    The purpose of this work is to implement a system for predicting electricity consumption in food production and to select the most appropriate method for training the forecasting model. In this work, a system was implemented for predicting electricity consumption based on streaming data, which receives them in "real time". The system is implemented on the principle of microservice architecture, where the following were implemented: a service for collecting data from meters, a service for data aggregation and forecasting services. Two forecasting services were implemented: using the classical learning approach based on the ARIMA model and the online learning approach using the HATR online model, the results of which were compared using tests for predicting anomalous values and forecasting under conditions of a change in the data concept, or drift concepts.

  • Markov model of relaxation and aging processes fibrous materials

    The concept of a fibrous material (hereinafter referred to as FM) as a soft structure formed by fiber elements surrounded by air and areas of fiber interaction on touch surfaces is proposed and substantiated. The fiber elements are in a deformed state. The deformation of the fibers is reversible, elastic-elastic. In the areas of interaction between the fibers, the forces of adhesion and dry friction act. The deformation of the fibers leads to the preservation of residual internal energy in the material. At low loads, the FM can change its state reversibly. At high loads, the structure of the interaction sites irreversibly changes. The processes of aging and degradation of FM are gradual irrevocable transitions from one group of states to others. The dynamics of these processes is statistical in nature. Therefore, a Markov model of state change has been developed in the form of several subsets of irrevocable subsets and one ergodic subset of states. At the qualitative level, the possibility of using the proposed model to describe the dynamics of FM aging processes and estimate the duration of this process, taking into account its probabilistic and statistical nature, is shown.

  • The use of cloud Internet technologies in web development of information systems

    The specifics of web-oriented information systems are considered, the stages of the life cycle are determined taking into account their specifics. The analysis of modern cloud Internet technologies providing storage, management and distributed shared access to information resources is carried out. Examples of cloud Internet services are presented, the capabilities of which can be used at the stage of planning and managing IS, design, development of the client and server parts, testing, and also supplemented with the functionality of Internet services for time management, presentation of results, data collection, work on documents, online communication at meetups. Conclusions are drawn about the possibility of creating a flexible space for joint work of a team of distributed developers.

  • Evaluation of technological solutions for the installation of an operated roof based on effectiveness indicators

    The concept of vertical expansion of development is becoming more and more popular in Russia, especially in large cities due to the scarcity and high cost of building land. This article continues the study presented in the material on the choice of a variant of the technology for constructing an operated roof, designed to be used, for example, as a recreation area, sports grounds, landscaping, etc. The article presents the results of a comparative assessment of the technological efficiency of the operated roofs construction, arranged with a traditional and inverse arrangement of a waterproofing carpet and thermal insulation. In the study, methods for evaluating their organizational and technological solutions based on technological efficiency indicators were applied. In addition, examples the systems engineering assessment tools use is provided. Determination of the manufacturability degree for the operated roofs installation on the basis of some system-technical principles and optimality criteria when comparing different options for organizational and technological solutions. Based on the calculation of performance indicators, a set of indicators with different dimensions arises. They are used as input for aggregate analysis when applying systems engineering. This approach allows achieving internal compatibility between the elements of the system, in this case, the obtained performance indicators. The technological advantages of the inversion installation of an exploited roof, in particular, intended for landscaping, have again been confirm.

  • Modeling the activities of a software development firm

    In a competitive environment, the definition of an effective strategy for the development of a company acquires great importance and is impossible without the use of mathematical modeling methods. The article proposes a hierarchically organized model of an IT enterprise. The consideration was carried out on the example of Electronic Medicine LLC. The Cobb-Douglas production function is used to describe the firm's activities. Numerical calculations are made by simulation for real input data. The Stackelberg equilibrium is constructed, and the results obtained are analyzed.

  • Synthesis and analysis of a non-cooperative passive bistatic radar coordinate meter when detecting weak objects

    This article analyzes the problems of spatial, temporal and phase synchronization in non-cooperative passive bistatic radar coordinate meters, which make it difficult to detect weak objects. The method of time and phase synchronization based on the estimation of the parameters of the direct wave signal and the method of detecting weak objects, which consists of a long coherent accumulation of signal parameters, are investigated. A universal algorithm is proposed, which consists of two stages: extraction of direct wave pulses and parameter estimation. Based on the estimation of parameters and waveform, an algorithm for detecting weak targets based on the generalized Fourier transform is given.

  • Development of a hybrid neural network for image chasing

    In the presented work, a hybrid neural network is proposed, which combines quantum and classical computing, and is intended for use in image classification. The hybrid neural network is implemented on the basis of a classical convolutional neural network using a quantum circuit. Also, within the framework of this study, a comparison was made of various configurations of a hybrid neural network in which a different number of qubits were used. The hybrid neural network configurations were trained and tested on the CIFAR10 and CIFAR100 datasets. Comparison of the performance of a hybrid neural network for multiclass classification was carried out for a different number of classes (from 2 to 10) with the corresponding number of qubits (from 2 to 4). The results obtained during the experiments confirmed the possibility of using a hybrid neural network to solve the problem of multiclass classification.

  • Enrichment of a sequences set in the problem of blocks of symmetric Hadamard matrices searching

    The search for orthogonal and quasi-orthogonal matrices is considered as a sequence of setting initial conditions, choosing an implementation method, filtering a set of generated sequences. It is proposed to accelerate the search for matrices by pre-fixing their structure and filtering the generated sequences using the Fourier spectrum. Fixing the structure involves using the symmetry properties of the desired matrices. Filtering allows you to exclude sequences with explicit spectrum outliers when forming blocks of symmetric matrices.

  • Modeling and improvement of combined systems for regulating the weight of the paper web

    To solve the problem with a large time delay in combined control systems, it is proposed to introduce an additional control circuit for the speed of paper pulp intake. The introduced circuit will function alternately with the current pressure control circuit inside the pressure device.

  • Study of the technical characteristics of the piezoelectric element using the Matlab program

    The piezoelectric element is one of the most popular electronic components in use, which are used as part of many electronic devices. These devices are very effectively used in medicine, education, construction, oil and gas industry, military equipment, metrology and many others. They are part of devices that provide diagnostics of various human organs, measurement of the flow of pumped liquids and gases that utilize mechanical energy of a person and vehicles for the purpose of its subsequent conversion into electrical energy. In order to obtain a piezoelectric effect, it is necessary to indicate certain effects on the crystal. Such effects include: application of excessive pressure; compression; stretching; torsion. The criteria that affect the effectiveness of multilayer piezoelectric converters are discussed below.

  • An approach to the operation of a data transmission network protection system against computer attacks based on a hybrid neural network

    The article describes an approach to the operation of a data transmission network protection system against computer attacks based on a hybrid neural network. It is proposed to use a hybrid neural network as a machine learning method. To calculate the output value of neural network signals, the activation function is used. The neural network model consists of recurrent cells - LSTM and GRU. Experiments have demonstrated that the proposed network protection system for detecting computer attacks based on an assessment of the self-similarity of the system functioning parameters using fractal indicators and predicting the impact of cyber attacks by applying the proposed structure of the LSTM neural network has a sufficiently high efficiency in detecting both known and unknown spacecraft. The probability of detecting known spacecraft is 0.96, and the zero-day attack is 0.8.
