  • The use of logging waste in the construction of buildings and structures

    Today in Russia there is an acute problem of processing of waste of the logging and wood processing industry. At almost all stages of timber production, waste is generated, which is disposed of or left to rot. Felling residues obtained in the process of cutting operations are used least of all. Currently, loggers leave up to 30 % of only the stem of trees, primarily low-quality wood, not to mention twigs, conifers, stumps, while logging waste is a valuable raw material that can and should be used for further processing. The article discusses the prospects for the development of the timber industry, including related to the rational use of wood resources. A number of experiments were carried out in order to determine the influence of design and technological parameters of knife equipment on the quality indicators of wood-fiber semi-finished product.

  • Comparative analysis of the availability of forest logging companies

    The ultimate goal of the activities of the woodworking company is receiving income from the use of forest resources. To achieve a normal level of profitability is not enough of one evaluation of the taxonomic indicators the forest area. This article describes the methodology of assessing the economic availability of forest resources based on analysis of all the key factors such as: cost of logging, transport accessibility, the cost of creating the necessary infrastructure. A study of the process of logging one of the largest woodworking enterprises of the domestic timber industry for availability of forest resources. It is concluded that the different forest areas of the plant are characterized by different initial conditions. Accordingly, this guidance on tactical and strategic planning in the field of improvement of economic availability of forest resources, it is noted that the plots with higher level of affordability should be developed at an accelerated pace, and the areas with less favourable economic performance should only fill in missing volumes.

  • Classification of technological processes of logging

    The efficiency of a timber harvesting company depends primarily on the proper selection of technologies and systems of machines that would satisfy as much as possible the natural - production requirements and the conditions in which the company operates. In the timber harvesting regions of Russia operating machinery conditions are quite different from each other. They differ in taxation indices of wood, soil, rainfall, terrain, temperature regimes. In this research the article classifies machine systems and processes to identify similar groups, which allow providing advice on their use in the various natural - production conditions, both individually and in various combinations. Machines are classified by the condition of their use depending on the terrain, soil conditions, the average volume of tree-length material and its maximum diameter. Technology processes are classified by types of finished products (wood, tree-length, assortment, chips, etc.), by place of processing of the object of labor, etc. Classification allows you to specify a limited number of the most appropriate to the specific natural - production conditions of technologies and machine systems.

  • Evaluation criteria of technologies for logging industries

    The technology of timber in the forest Fund has a significant value on the cost of production of round timber. Therefore, this task is urgent and most important for logging companies. It is important to pre-determine the criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of the technology of logging operations. It is, above all, efficiency, environment and safety work. In this article studies in some detail their implications for production, workers and the natural environment, which improves the validity of the decisions on the selection of variants of technical and technological organization of the timber industry. The practical significance of the use of evaluation criteria logging is technically focused on improving outcomes for timber production and increasing economic-social and ecological-silvicultural sustainability of the forest sector of the Russian economy. A detailed analysis of the evaluation criteria logging technology allows not only to consider them from the point of view of efficiency, which in most cases occurs, but equally take into account the impact on the environment and safety in the logging operations.

  • Recycling of wood wastes of timber industry, as a factor of sustainable resource management

    An important direction for sustainable development of domestic production is a complex use of wood resources. In Russia there is a large amount of wood resources. Waste is generated at all stages of logging and woodworking processes. Researchers estimate in the Russian Federation annually produces about 35.5 million m3 of wood waste. Wastes produced by various physico-chemical, size, quality and other characteristics. Range of directions of development of waste from the activities of the forest industry is also great. Depending on the type of wood waste can be used in different directions of the domestic industry. The increasing use of waste wood resources is the most important link in the development of policy, resource conservation, environmental management, environmental safety.   • The mechanism of management of the main production process from wood industries

    In article results of development of the mechanism of management of efficiency of use of wood resources at the timber industry enterprises are offered. It consists of five main stages, the implementation of which can decide whether the decision-making in certain areas of forestry development and individual businesses, as well as the development of strategic programs for their development. The proposed mechanism is tested on the example of Lesosibirsk’ timber industry in the region, allowing it to offer promising areas of development. Research is carried out with assistance of RGNF (grant No. 15-12-24003) and KGAU "KKFPNiNTD" ("Development of a control system of the forestry enterprise in modern conditions" project).

  • On the rational management and exploitation of resources in the Krasnoyarsk region

    The article analyzes the main reserves of natural resources development and investment projects for the development of the Krasnoyarsk region. More assess the forest resources of the region. Particular emphasis is placed on problems that hinder the pace of development. Highlighted the main problems of the forest sector of the region. According to the results of the analysis of the findings, which indicate the main directions of development of the region on the development and processing resources of the region. A further objective of the structural adjustment of the economy of the region is the maximum use of the resource potential and implementation as a key tool of industrial policy, the cluster approach and the model of innovative development.

  • Evaluation of the effectiveness of the automated search of the optimal route of transportation of wood with regard to emerging risks

    In the article proposed indicator of the effectiveness of the implementation of an automated search of the optimal route of transportation of the wood. An example of evaluation of the dispatching process of extraction of timber from the cutting area, with example calculations for two cases. Conclusions are drawn about the possibility of its use for evaluating the effectiveness of information systems.
