  • Method for increasing the production efficiency of ultralight refractories

A method for increasing the production efficiency of ultra-lightweight refractory products is proposed, by optimizing the technology for preparing foam, which allows to release the products from the forms immediately after they are installed for drying. The plastic-viscous characteristics and stability of the foam can be increased by its mineralization, i.e. by introducing fine mineral substances into the foam-forming solution

  • Ceramic brick from overburden breed of the Klyuchevsky field of sandstones

The results of laboratory studies to determine the suitability of clay raw materials of the Klyuchevsky Sandstone field for the production of ceramic bricks by plastic molding are presented. It is established that the introduction of the composition of the batch of associated lithoidal rocks as emaciated additives, coal and kaolinite-hydrologist Vladimirovskaya raw material fields, as well as adding the modifying additives that increase frost resistance, it is possible to obtain ceramic samples that meet the requirements of GOST.

  • Software reliability and methods of its improvement

Stable operation of computer equipment is important for its effective use. A significant role in ensuring stability depends on the reliability of the software. The article analyzes the state of the problem to improve the reliability of the software based on the models of reliability assessment. The methods of increasing the software reliability using time and software redundancy are analyzed. It is concluded that there is no universal solution to the problem of software reliability in the presence of many private solutions.

  • Improving the quality of bricks semi-dry pressing made on the basis of clay raw materials of the Kagalnik-3 field

Results of researches on improvement of quality of the brick made of clay Kagalnik-3 raw materials are presented. It is defined that raw materials contain a large number of particles less than 1 mm in size that complicates receiving press powder of the recommended granulometriya. In addition, because of high sensitivity of raw materials to drying, on samples there are drying cracks influencing durability and frost resistance. It is defined that for receiving qualitative products, except softer mode of drying, for increase in physico-mechanical characteristics it is necessary to add the mineral modifying additive to furnace charge, and to carry out preparation of press powder with preliminary plastic granulation of weight.

  • Decorative processing of natural stones

Results of researches on influence of heat treatment on physicomechanical properties of the clay slates and sandstone extracted in the Rostov region are stated. It is established that the decorative effect for clay slates can be gained by heat treatment at temperatures of 300-500C then rock on all volume changes color with gray to the red-brown. Thus durability of samples at a bend increases by 20-70%. For change of color of a front surface of natural stones structures of coverings on the basis of phosphatic sheaves and the developed low-temperature enamel were considered. For giving to a layer of necessary flowers various ceramic pigments were used. Frost resistance of stones with coverings on the basis of phosphatic sheaves and enamel more than 50 cycles that testifies to the high durability of coupling of a decorative layer with a stone surface. It is defined that by use of simple technological decisions and inexpensive raw materials, the range of flowers of natural stones can be expanded significantly.

  • About possibility of receiving a facing brick from clay raw materials of the Zvezdinsky field

Results of laboratory researches on determination of suitability of clay raw materials of the Zvezdinsky field for production of a facing ceramic brick are stated by way of plastic formation. It is established that for receiving faultless products it is necessary to reduce air shrinkage and sensitivity to drying of a structure. Additives – sandy loam of the Dubovsky field and a fuel-bearing additive are for this purpose used. For increase of frost resistance of a ceramic crock entered the mineral modifying additive into a structure – waste of production of mineral fertilizers. Its introduction in number of 5% allowed to increase frost resistance to 50 cycles without deterioration of appearance of the burned samples. In addition, on the burned samples made of all structures there was a whitish raid. For the purpose of receiving a monophonic surface the svezhesformovannykh of samples applied special water solution for elimination of a white raid on two sides. These actions reached receiving the samples corresponding to facing products.

  • Influence of specific pressure of pressing and firing temperature on frost resistance of the modified laboratory samples from atyukhtinsky clay raw materials

Results of researches on joint influence of specific pressure of pressing and firing temperature on physico-mechanical properties of laboratory samples on the basis of atyukhtinsky clay raw materials is shown. For the purpose of increase of frost resistance of the burned samples into structure of masses entered a carbonat containing modifying additive in an amount of 5%. For a quantitative assessment of influence of the specified factors on the main indicators of the burned samples researches with application of mathematical planning of experiment and computer processing of results were conducted. Specific pressure of pressing varied within 20±5 MPa, firing temperature – 1000±50 0C. By results of experiment the regression equations are received. It is defined that at increase of value of both varied factors, frost resistance and durability of samples increase, and water absorption – decreases. It is shown that, operating even with two technology factors – the specific pressure of pressing and firing temperature – it is possible to change significantly properties of finished products, and, using the received equations, it is possible to predict future properties of products at a stage of their production.
