Study of the influence of the composition of the traffic flow of vehicles and changes in speed limits on road safety using the example of the Tyumen region

The article analyzes the influence of the parameters of the composition of the traffic flow of vehicles and the parameter of changing the speed limit on road safety in the Tyumen region. Indicators of relative accident rates for highways and short sections of roads are determined, formulas for their calculation are obtained. The results of the analysis made it possible to assess the impact of the parameters on road safety and formulate tasks for its improvement.
