Incoming article date: 04.12.2013In the article, which is a review, the question about the use of library materials in the design of pile foundation in subsidence soils. Topic is relevant for engineers faced with the design of buildings and structures on the subsiding soils. States the reason for the consideration of the designated theme, coming out of the normative documents, as well as from the practice of static load test of piles. The task is the possibility of using library materials field test piles taking into account features of the static sounding in an environment where it may be difficult, as well as in combination with the results of the full sample or engineering-geological researches, modern methods of calculation (numerical methods, CAD, etc.) and geophysical data.
