Monitoring of soil pollution at the waste disposal site in Voroshilovsky district of Volgograd
Incoming article date: 09.07.2021This article presents the results of work on environmental monitoring of the waste disposal facility - a landfill located in the Voroshilovsky district of the city of Volgograd. The data on the territorial and natural features of the research site, such as location, landscape, flora and fauna, are described. The results of the study of soil samples according to the criteria of biological, toxicological and chemical pollution are presented. The question is raised about the possibility of reclamation work using a sorbent based on natural mineral-organic substances, the effectiveness of the sorbent in reducing the hazard class of contaminated soil is shown.
