Is the result of long-term observations over the condition of water objects of the city of Rostov-on-Don. Status of water resources in the city of Rostov-on-Don, did not meet the requirements of the normative acts in the field of environmental protection Wednesday. The ability of the river Temernik River self-clean does not provide restore disturbed ecological balance and require the implementation of additional measures aimed at improving the condition of the water body. By changing the parameters of the river Temernik River and used for purifying algae observed decrease of contaminants into the River Don. Considered the objective of improving water hydraulics, hydraulic structures to ensure proper ecological state of these objects. Sources of water pollution are also unorganized flow of surface water from contaminated areas within the city, that degrades the performance of ecological purity of the hydrosphere region, its water balance. Hydrological and hydraulic processes in the urbanized territories are closely linked to environmental security. Address the issues of environmental security of waters of megalopolis based on monitoring the quality of natural waters in natural waters, developing recommendations and spending on their basis for the conservation and improvement of the status of water resources of the city, ensuring their safe use for the needs of the city's population.
