The article presents the results of research to study the possibility of using volcanic ash in the production technology of ceramic roof tiles. The main afterfiring properties of the masses on the basis of fusible clay and volcanic ash over a wide temperature range. It is found that the masses on the basis of ash have high afterfiring properties
