Incoming article date: 20.10.2018

The article describes the principles of space-planning decisions in the design of Orthodox churches. The forms that form the spatial models of Orthodox churches are diverse in their decisions in spatial and functional aspects. Interior premises are displayed in various volumetric and architectural-artistic variations of structural elements that determine the diversity of Orthodox churches, with a limited choice of plan compositions. The spatial composition of the church is based on the conditions and requirements of worship and the symbolism of its individual parts and elements associated with the dogma of Orthodoxy.
