Drilling in permafrost conditions using gas-liquid systems
Incoming article date: 23.03.2021The problem of drilling in permafrost conditions still remains relevant. Despite significant progress using thermal insulating casing directions, the issue of choosing a drilling fluid remains controversial, since an incorrectly selected drilling fluid can lead to huge consequences. This article provides a brief description of permafrost, discusses the problems of drilling in permafrost conditions, and methods for their solution using gas-liquid systems, and air.
