  • The trend of modern construction-urban development in cramped conditions

    The development of underground space in the design of buildings and complexes determines the direction of modern construction. Special attention is paid to the use of new technologies and the organization of production in the development of underground spaces of historically developed urban areas. Constrained conditions of construction in existing urban development represent construction site bounded by city buildings and structures with their subterranean communications with the adjacent road network and land facilities. In such a situation when doing work to minimize the effect of underground construction on the existing development and the geological environment is required when strict compliance with the building regulations. The method "wall in the ground" can be considered important and priority in the technical progress of construction of buried structures.

  • Improvement of organizational behavior in the management system of entrepreneurial structures of the construction industry in Russia

    Increasing the efficiency of management of the activities of the organization is an actual issue for the enterprises of the construction industry in modern society.   • Some organizational and technological solutions of geotechnical protection in cramped conditions

    During the construction or reconstruction of buildings and structures in dense urban areas it is necessary to perform geotechnical monitoring of buildings surrounding buildings, in order to determine the compliance of the projected and actual values of precipitation and their relation to the permissible normative values. The accuracy and the cyclical nature of geophysical measurements should be carried out in accordance with the requirements of SP 22.13330.2011 foundations of buildings and structures. The updated edition of SNiP 2.02.01-83* [2]. The need to perform geotechnical monitoring is also due to the timely detection of unacceptable additional sediment buildings surrounding buildings and prevent the development of defects and deformations caused by these precipitation. Due to the regular monitoring cycles, it is possible to predict the growth of additional sediments or stabilize them. In case of increase of additional precipitation of buildings of surrounding building up to maximum permissible values and availability of the forecast of its further increase it is necessary to carry out actions for their geotechnical protection. In case of stabilization of additional sediment of buildings of surrounding building, implementation of measures for geotechnical protection is not required, which in turn does not entail additional financial and time costs during construction. The article gives an example of geotechnical monitoring on the reconstruction object in conditions of dense urban development. The results of its implementation are given. The analysis of occurrence of additional sediment buildings surrounding buildings. The necessity of implementation of measures on geotechnical protection is defined. The economic efficiency of geotechnical monitoring on this object is given. The results of the study may be useful in carrying out geotechnical monitoring at other sites in dense urban areas, as show that the additional sediment of adjacent buildings may not always be caused only by the construction works. And in case of timely stabilization of additional sediments, it is possible to avoid additional financial and time costs, thanks, inter alia, to the results of geotechnical monitoring.

  • Experimental study of the characteristics of metal elastoplastic elements of anti-shock protection systems

    The article presents the results of experimental studies of alternating torsion under a rigid loading regime, during which the features of the behavior of materials under such loading are revealed. The study of deformation diagrams in the sequence of load cycles and under loading with a stochastic sequence of intermediate unloadings of the sample is carried out. In this case, external force and deformation were measured, followed by recalculation into tangential stresses and the relative twist angle. It is established that the hysteresis loop of the first loading cycle differs considerably in shape from the subsequent cycles, but after three or four loads, the dimensions and shape of the loop in all cases stabilize. When loaded with intermediate discharges, small random loops do not go beyond the main (limiting) hysteresis loop, but are inside it, and the inner and outer branches are similar curves

  • Comparison of structural solutions of a retaining wall in dense urban areas

    The paper is considered modelling the process elaboration of a pit for high-rise building in the case of dense urban area. The research is analyzed stress strain state of soil with retaning wall. The authors are developed various design solutions of the retainig wall to decrease of displacement of the nodals in soil finite element model. According the results, it has selected rational design solution of retaining wall.

  • Removal of heavy metals from industrial wastewater through the application of sorbent from the shell of the nut anacardium

    The article suggests the use of agricultural wastes of the shell of the anacard nut, cultivated in the Republic of Cote d'Ivoire, as a sorption material. This carbon sorbent (0.5 g / l) was used to remove heavy metals, namely iron (Fe), C = 1.05 mg / l, aluminum (Al), C = 0.10 mg / l) from production waste water of the machine-building plant of LLC Rostselmash (Rostov-on-Don). According to the experimental data, the efficiency of metal removal depends on the sorption time and amounts to: for iron - from 28.6 to 97.1%, for aluminum - from 10 to 90% (Table 2). The concentration of metals in treated wastewater (iron C = 0.03 mg / l and aluminum C = 0.01 mg / l) corresponds to the norms of MPC (iron C = 0.1 mg / l, and aluminum C = 0.04 mg / l), which makes it possible to discharge them into the city water drainage system. From the experimental data, it was concluded that this material can be used as a sorbent.

  • The creation of multilateral structures of industrial pipes using self-supporting thermoplastic pipe Furanflex

    The article presents the description of the creation of modern multitube designs of industrial pipes using the self-supporting thermoplastic polymer pipe Furanflex.The variant of the device of separate gas-exhaust trunk at reconstruction of boiler rooms and CHP by the heat-generating companies is offered. There is a specific example which gives description of technology the installation of industrial pipes Furanflex .The detailed description and the analysis of advantages and disadvantages of this technology by means of which it is possible to get rid of a problem of destruction of a chimney owing to influence of condensate is given forever. The article provides a brief overview of the existing alternative methods of protection and repair of chimneys with a brief description of the advantages and disadvantages.Data and conclusions of the presented work maybe interesting for different circle of readers, builders, designers-designers, architects.This article should be of interest to the heat-generating companies

  • Proposals for the classification of technical heat-saving methods in the operation of residential and public buildings

    The article substantiates the expediency of classification of technical heat-saving methods in the operation of residential and public buildings. The results of the study of the physical nature, efficiency and rational application of these methods were used in the classification according to their main function. The proposed classification of heat-saving methods is recommended for use in the integrated assessment of heat efficiency of residential and public buildings, and in determination of sources of heat savings during their operation.

  • Modern trends in the design of media facades

  • Investigation of the stress-strain state of an eccentrically compressed rod of great flexibility

    The problem of formalizing the elastic line of a thin steel strip of great flexibility arose in the process of creating elastic elements with a nonlinear characteristic for use in various kinds of damping devices. Such elastic rods experience large displacements when the material operates within the elastic range, in particular when axial loading in the supercritical region, when the axial load exceeds the Euler force, but in the subcritical region the movements are not significant enough to obtain a regressive-progressive characteristic.The paper investigates the possibilities of softening the elastic characteristics under axial loading in the initial period by applying a rigid cantilever arm mounted on the end of the elastic rod with a vertical load applied to it. Simultaneously, the influence of the vertical force on the elastic characteristic of the circular trajectory is investigated. To formalize the stress-strain state of a thin steel plate of great flexibility, the method of elliptic parameters is applied. The resulting elastic characteristic actually has a regressive-progressive character. The results obtained using the ANSYS computation complex for a system with given geometric parameters correlate quite well with the theoretical dependences derived. It follows from the diagram that the eccentric compression of the elastic element forms a regressive part of the elastic characteristic, and the circular trajectory of the point of application of the vertical force forms a progressive section.
