  • Comparative analysis of the effectiveness of software tools for splitting videos into frames using the example of the field of road surface quality assessment

Roads occupy an important place in the life of almost every person. The quality of the coating is the most significant characteristic of the roadway. To evaluate it, there are many systems, among which there are those that analyze the road surface using video information streams. In turn, the video is divided into frames, and the images are used to directly assess the road quality. Splitting video into frames in such systems works based on special software tools. To understand how effective a particular software is, a detailed analysis is needed. In this article, OpenCV, MoviePy and FFMpeg are selected as software tools for analysis. The research material is a two-minute video of the road surface with a frame rate 29.97 frames/s and mp4 format. The average time to get one frame from a video is used as an efficiency indicator. For each of the three software tools, 5 different experiments were conducted in which the frame size in pixels was consistently increased by 2 times: 40000, 80000, 160000, 320000, 640000. Each program has a linear dependence of O(n) average frame retrieving time on resolution, however, FFMpeg has the lowest absolute time indicators, as well as the lowest growth rate of the function, therefore it is the most effective tool compared to the others (OpenCV, MoviePy).

  • Comparison of the Kanban method and the multi-agent approach in the distribution of resources between the same type of units of an industrial enterprise

Large industrial enterprises can be compared to a complex dynamic system in which management decisions are constantly required. One of the main management decisions, on which the main performance indicators of the enterprise depend, is the process of managing the planning of production. In the process of organizing decision-making, information systems can be used, which are based on mathematical and heuristic calculation methods.organizations of the new enterprises, redistribution of investments in interests of the organization and development of new production on available floor spaces. The most important organizational economic targets of a diversification of management are presented by innovative activity of the industrial enterprise.

  • Solving the problem of information system integration using the example of an automated metallurgical production system

The paper discusses the problem of building a unified system for a metallurgical enterprise that integrates heterogeneous information systems of various purposes, such as Computerized Information Systems (CIS), Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), and Process Automation Systems (PAS). Data exchange with various automated systems of the enterprise is carried out by a special Data Exchange Module with Automated Systems of the Enterprise (DEMAS), which is implemented as a web service. DEMAS aims to ensure guaranteed information exchange between information systems and store information in a single data repository.

  • Development of logistic model based on integration conceptual modeling, object oriented approach, multi agent systems, simulation and intelligent systems

The multi agent model of resources conversion process have rising in 2 direction – simulation of processes and integration with artificial intelligent approaches (expert systems, situation and multi agent simulation) at now. In this work the main attention gave second  direction that consist of knowledge representation research and integration with conceptual modeling for application in domain ontologies in decision support systems. The semantic network of multi agent resources conversion process was designed. The intelligent systems design method based on conceptual modeling, multi agent systems, simulation, expert and situation systems, object oriented approach was described.  Model and method was implemented in software product BPsim. The software product was implemented in practice tasks.

  • Coalition model of multi-agent resource conversion process

The paper focuses on one of possible approaches to decision support problem, which is based on multi-agent simulation modelling. Most decision support cases generally consist of a set of available alternatives definition, estimation and selection of the best one. When choosing a solution one needs to consider a large number of conflicting objectives and, thus, to estimate possible solutions on multiple criteria. Multi-agent resource conversion process model was developed on the basis of several approaches integration: simulation and situational modeling, expert and multi-agent systems, object-oriented approach. The multi-agent resource conversion process model was extended elements coalition. Apparatus of conflict modeling was extended communications. Creation and disintegration processes of coalition are starting structural and parametric changes in multi-agent resource conversion process model. Coalition multi agent model of resources conversion process was implemented in decision support system BPsim.

  • Multicriteria decision making under risk based on the integration of multi-agent, evolutionary modeling and numerical methods

Decision making in the organizational and technical systems is complicated by the risk of various events emergence in the systems with a given probability. The article describes a method for supporting decision making under risk on the basis of integration of evolutionary, multi-agent, simulation models and numerical methods. In the course of the method's work the following steps are performing: a set of alternatives solutions is formed;  transition to a one-criterion alternatives evaluation is fulfilled by using linear convolution; transition to the system behavior certainty is fulfilled with the use of numerical optimization Bayes-Laplace criterion. The developed method is applied to solving the projects scheduling problem; the results agree with the problem solution that has been performed by using genetic algorithm method under certainty.
