  • About the introduction of the educational module "The best European experience in the field of energy saving" in DSTU

The article assesses the implementation of the educational module and its potential in promoting the European principles of social development and culture at the institutional and national levels in Russia. The characteristics of the project aimed at the inclusion of a master's degree discipline in the university curricula that reveals advanced European practices in the field of energy and resource conservation are given. Analytical data and characteristics of architectural, structural and engineering solutions of modern technologies of energy-efficient, environmentally friendly types of buildings implemented in European countries are presented. Conclusions are made about the implementation of the Jean Monnet Module project at the Don State Technical University.

  • Automated building management system as a tool to improve their energy efficiency and comfort level

The article presents an analysis of the effectiveness of the use in the construction of an automated building management system (ASUZ) as a technical basis for the implementation of the concept of a “smart”, “intelligent” building, and the prospects for using APSS to reduce the energy intensity of buildings are noted. Examples of the interaction of building engineering systems with urban facilities are considered. The authors noted the advantages of using and justified the relevance of the involvement of the automated system in the building management processes, identified reasons hindering the implementation of the Smart House technology in Russia.

  • Estimation of sustainability achieved by the building through the implementation of energy-saving technologies

The article describes the main provisions of methodology developed by the authors for evaluation the effectiveness of resource-saving solutions in the housing construction. This methodology is based on the assessment of sustainability, which is obtained by residential buildings through the implementation in practice the resource-saving technologies. In its framework, the authors propose a system of indicators characterizing the social, economic and environmental aspects of building’s sustainability and the corresponding scale ranges for their scoring. Taking into account the theory of pair comparison, the authors developed an algorithm for determining the contribution of each indicator in the overall integral sustainability of the building.

Keywords: energy- and resource-saving technologies, sustainable development, method of expert evaluation, method of paired comparison, effectiveness of resource-saving technologies, residential buildings, integral indicator of building's sustainability

  • Development of complex energy efficient measurements’ choice algorithm in construction processes

This scientific report is devoted to the solution of an optimization model of the complex energy efficient measurements’ choice problem, making use in the housing construction, on the bases of developed algorithm. The optimization algorithm was devised taking into account of the energy efficient technologies detailed classification including its cost and energy savings. In the article is offered a simplified formula of economic effect calculation for different energy efficient technologies. It introduces an application of optimization model of the complex energy efficient measurements’ choice by example of heat-insulating materials and the results of economic cost-effectiveness analysis of its using.

Keywords: energy saving, energy efficiency, energy efficient technologies’ classification, optimization of energy efficient measurements’ choice, ecological, heat consumption, economic cost-effectiveness
