  • Automated Construction of Ornamental Compositional Designs Using Python Language: A Case Study of Folk Arts and Crafts

The article describes the development of an application software designed for the automated creation of ornamental compositional patterns based on user-uploaded motifs. The study discusses algorithms for ornament generation using five grid types: square, rectangular (horizontal and vertical), ribbon, and radial. The main principles of user interaction with the program are outlined, including image uploading, parameter adjustment, visualization, and result saving. The software was implemented in Python using the Pillow and Tkinter libraries, which provide tools for image processing and graphical interface design. The presented results demonstrate the efficiency of an automated approach to ornament construction, significantly accelerating the design process and making it accessible to a wide range of users. The developed program supports iterative experimentation and visual modification of motifs in real time, enabling users to generate unique decorative compositions in the style of traditional folk crafts. The application can be used in educational, creative, and research contexts, promoting algorithmic thinking through visual experimentation. The project contributes to the digital preservation and reinterpretation of national artistic heritage, combining the traditions of folk ornamentation with modern technological methods.

  • Development of application software for automated coloring of images in palettes of traditional folk crafts

The article is devoted to the development of application software for automated colorization of images in palettes of traditional folk crafts. The process of identifying palettes of folk paintings, the algorithm for transferring color solutions to the author's images and the presentation of this algorithm in the code of a computer program in the Python language are considered. The scheme of interaction of the program with the user is explained. The options for the practical application of the created application software in the work of artists, when creating design projects, for preserving cultural heritage and passing it on to new generations are described. The results of the study demonstrate the effectiveness of the automated approach for coloring images, reducing time costs and simplifying the work of designers. The article may be of interest to specialists in the field of computer graphics, designers and researchers of digital technologies in the field of image processing.

  • Visualization of ornamental compositional solutions and placement of glass elements on 3d-models of modern clothes in Gzheli palette

The article considers the possibility of integrating traditional folk crafts into modern design solutions using 3D modeling technology. Digital tools are being considered that make it possible to combine historical colors and modern forms. The possibility of using glass-like elements in the decoration of clothing and the role of cylindrical elements in modern design are described. The results of the created ornamental solutions in the Gzhel palette on 3D models of clothing are presented.

  • Study of the problem of determining the exact indicator of the physical deterioration of a building

Physical wear and tear can be determined either by studying with the help of instruments, or relying on regulatory and expert methods. The first helps to obtain reliable indicators of physical wear, but to obtain it requires less materials. Normative and expert methods - the second make it possible to identify the degree of wear with less accuracy, but it requires a small investment of materials and time. Two similar methods include the "Methodology for determining the physical deterioration of civilian buildings", which was created by MINKOMHOZ of the RSFSR, as well as Departmental building codes 53-86 (r) "Rules for assessing the physical deterioration of residential buildings." The problem of lack of information in the absence of the possibility of personal inspection of the evaluated structure, and, in addition, the obsolescence of the methods makes it difficult to use them. In this case, it is logical to use calculation methods.
