  • Assessment of the principles of placement of the territorial-property complex of mining companies

The principles of placement of the territorial property complex are closely related to the specifics of the production activity of the enterprise, and therefore are often repeated within the same industry. This paper analyzes the placement of the territorial and property complex of the world's largest mining companies engaged in the extraction and processing of potash ore. A conclusion is drawn about the formation of general principles for the placement of the territorial and property complex of KCl mining companies, which were taken into account in particular during the design and construction of the mining and processing plant in the Volgograd region of EuroChem-VolgaKaliy LLC.

  • Laser technologies in the construction industry: advantages and disadvantages

The use of innovative technologies in construction is necessary at all stages of the production cycle from design to operation, reconstruction and overhaul of buildings and structures. One of the leading technologies used to collect and process data on construction sites, sites and territories is laser three-dimensional scanning. In this paper, the features of the use of three-dimensional laser scanning in the construction industry are considered, the advantages and disadvantages of this research method are determined, the stages and principles of this type of measuring design work on the ground are identified.

Keywords: cost management, laser three-dimensional scanning, point cloud, BIM technologies

  • Urban environment as an ecosystem of modern society

The urban environment is formed by anthropogenic and natural factors. The authors proposes consideration of the urban environment as a complex ecosystem, determined by urban planning elements. The quality of the urban environment determines the degree of favorableness in this environment and compliance with modern requirements and living conditions. The essential factors that determine the urban environment – technical, architectural, planning, engineering. Technical factors form the frame of the urban environment (constructive solutions). Architectural means determine the visual perception of the urban environment. Planning factors include methods of planning and development of the territory. Engineering factors ensure the development of engineering infrastructure. In addition, technological factors ensure the use of new smart technologies. Technogenic factors create negative external effects of the urban environment. The main condition for considering the urban environment as an ecosystem is the compliance of all urban planning decisions with environmental standards. The use of an integrated approach when changing the design solution of the urban environment makes it possible to rationally and effectively prevent and identify negative impacts.

  • Principles of forming the architectural and landscape image of the production territory

The organization of urban space in the current conditions should correspond to modern trends in the development of urbanized systems. This is of particular importance in the case of a production site, as it acts as a source of influence on the residential area. From the point of view of environmental safety, it is customary to locate such sources of exposure far from the residential environment, minimizing the negative impact and production risks. At the same time, the need for transport accessibility of the enterprise to ensure supply chains and perform a city-forming function leads to the actual placement of production areas as close as possible to the residential area. The negative impact on the environment in such cases should be minimized or absent through the use of modern technical and technological advances. Ensuring a positive perception of the production complex by citizens and employees is possible by improving the quality of territory organization using the basic principles of architectural and landscape organization. An open-type production area in this case will allow creating the image of a safe enterprise both from the point of view of the environment and the urban space. The article discusses the basic principles of the formation of a favorable architectural and landscape appearance of the production area, including transport accessibility; organization of the territory; the use of various methods of greening and small architectural forms; combination of color and shape; special arrangement of functional buildings and structures. The use of the proposed principles in practice ensures the formation of a new qualitative level of the production space and the urbanized system as a whole.
