  • Filtration calculation of heterogeneous earth dams on impermeable foundation

In the practice of hydraulic engineering construction, especially in mountainous and foothill areas, quite often there are conditions under which it is economically advantageous to build a dam reservoir from heterogeneous local materials with different filtration characteristics. As a rule, in such areas near the site of the future dam there is not enough homogeneous construction soil that meets all the requirements. However, it is possible to find soils that differ in water permeability, but in sufficient quantity for the construction of the body of this dam.

  • Construction of a probabilistic model of a linear filtration operator with a forecast for an L-Markov process

Explicit formulas for the spectral characteristic and optimal linear filtration operator with a forecast for stochastic L–Markov processes are obtained using methods of spectral analysis of random processes, the theory of functions of a complex variable, and using stochastic differential-difference equations. An interesting example of an optimal filtration operator with a forecast for an L-Markov process with a quasi-rational spectral density generalizing the rational one is constructed for technical applications. It is shown that the forecast filtering operator is the sum of a linear combination of the values of the received signal at some time points and the integral of an exponentially decaying weight function.

  • An explicit view of the optimal lagged filtration operator for an L-Markov process

The paper develops an algorithm for constructing an optimal lagged filtration operator for an L-Markov process. The explicit formula of the filtration operator is obtained on the basis of methods for calculating stochastic integrals and the theory of analytical functions of a complex variable using spectral analysis and the theory of L-Markov processes. An interesting example of an optimal lagged filtration operator for an L-Markov process is considered, which can be used for modeling and controlling complex stochastic systems. It is shown that this operator is represented as a linear combination of the values of the received signal and an integral with an exponentially decaying function.

  • Calculation of spatial filtration of water to a horizontal drain of finite length in a homogeneous stream

When studying the problems of water filtration to a single horizontal imperfect drain of finite length, in a system of interacting horizontal imperfect drains, it is necessary to consider spatial (three-dimensional) filtration problems. Unlike flat (two-dimensional) problems, spatial filtering has been studied in less detail, since it is difficult to obtain rigorous solutions to their problems.

  • Development of control algorithms for pre-filtration of water for medical needs

The issues of high-quality and reliable water purification for medical needs are considered. The cleaning process is inextricably linked with the automated control of engineering systems. Water for medical purposes places high demands on the degree of filtration. In this regard, the task is formulated to ensure continuous automated monitoring and control of the cleaning process. The paper shows an algorithm for controlling the process of preliminary water purification. Based on the algorithm, a program was written in the ST language, which describes the logic of the visualization with the function of displaying and controlling the process. A fragment of the functional diagram of preliminary filtering is given. A visualization of the filter washing process is presented.
