  • Methods for determining the characteristics of multicomponent coatings of stop valves

The service life of shut-off valves operated at sites of hazardous production facilities with ultra-high parameters of the working environment is largely limited by the wear resistance of contact surfaces. In this regard, to increase the durability of contact surfaces, technological methods are used to modify the surface and special functional coatings are used. The development and selection of new functional coatings are inextricably linked with their comparative study based on the determination of the most significant characteristics through testing. The purpose of this work is an analytical review of the most common test methods for evaluating the characteristics of multicomponent nanocomposite coatings applied to the contact surfaces of valves to increase their wear resistance. Based on the results of the analytical review, recommendations are given for testing multicomponent nanocomposite coatings.

  • Analysis and development of an emergency rescue tool

The article considers the analysis of a manual mechanized tool for rescuing victims from rubble and traffic accidents. The statistics provided by the GUOBDD of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia are given, where traffic accidents in Tyumen and the Tyumen region are displayed. The advantages and disadvantages of a mechanized rescue tool are described. A study was carried out on the modernization of rescue tools, a design for reverse sharpening of the cutting element of hand shears was proposed to prevent bending and jamming of the metal.

  • Installation for pneumatic testing of valves - design and calculation

Pipe fittings, which are one of the main elements of any type of pipeline networks, can be used for various purposes: shut-off, reverse, safety, control, separating, shutting off, etc. In order to control the performance of this element, it is necessary to carry out various tests in the prescribed manner, the main ones being pneumatic. This study is devoted to the development of equipment for in-plant pneumatic testing of rotary check valves for pipeline systems of hazardous production facilities with ultra-high parameters of the working environment. For this design of the installation, the simulation of the stress-strain state of the elements of the installation was carried out, as well as the gas-dynamic calculation of the test circuit of the installation.

  • Development of an installation for hydraulic testing of pipeline valves

Pipeline networks today are the main and one of the safest ways to transport all kinds of media. This engineering system consists of various elements, one of which is pipeline fittings that regulate the parameters of working media and protect pipelines from overpressure. In order to control the operability of pipeline fittings, it must be subjected to comprehensive tests, one of which is a leak test. The presented study describes the developed design of a technological hydraulic installation intended for use as part of process equipment for conducting in-plant testing of pipeline valves. The results of modeling the stress-strain states of the main units, as well as the hydraulic calculation of the test circuit of the installation are presented.
