  • Development of scenarios for the implementation of information technology in the activities of companies in the construction industry

The introduction and application of BIM-technologies has been associated with the transition of the industrial and civil construction industry to a higher level of competitiveness in many countries of the world [1]. The article deals with the process of transition of the work of the project organization from traditional design to BIM modeling. The purpose of this article is to determine the advantages and disadvantages of the implementation of this technology in the activities of the project organization of the construction industry. The authors of this article propose scenarios for the implementation of BIM-technologies in the company's activities and made conclusions about using information technologies in construction organizations of different scale. The features of the implementation of this technology in the design process are considered. The stages of implementation of technologies in the activities of the project organization are analyzed. The result of this study is the conclusions on the subject under study.

  • Change in the management structure in the implementation of information technologies in the activities of the construction organization

Currently, the topic of information modeling in the process of designing and operating a construction facility is quite relevant. Therefore, the task of organizations in the construction industry is not only to introduce new technologies, but also to change the existing management processes in the organization. Due to the introduction of BIM-technologies, it is possible to combine the activities of various specialists (and even departments), whose work is performed in various software products. This makes it possible to reduce costs and simplify the process of designing of the future object. The article considers the distribution of responsibilities between the design participants when using CAD-technologies and information modeling technologies. In connection with the need to introduce new employees to the staff, a change in management structure has been proposed in the implementation of information technology. The main tasks of BIM specialists have been defined. The analysis of the project risks during the transition to BIM-technologies has been carried out, measures for their prevention and response methods have been developed.
