  • Full-scale study and justification of the parameters of injection of mortar during cementation of the foundation of the Gymnasium building No. 45 in Rostov-on-Don

The article describes the conduct of field studies carried out during the overhaul of the cultural heritage object – the building of MBOU "Gymnasium No. 45" to establish rational parameters of injection of cement-sand mortar, the choice of the type and design of injectors and the scheme of drilling injection wells. It is proved that the technical solutions adopted in the soil fixing project are not optimal and do not provide the required quality of work. Recommendations on technological and constructive solutions for fixing soils have been developed and implemented in practice, taking into account engineering and geological conditions, the results of the survey and fixing at the pilot site.

Keywords: subsidence soil, foundation, cementation, injector, well drilling, geocomposite

  • Methodology of proactive safety monitoring during the liquidation of coal mines in the Rostov region

The article presents the results of theoretical and experimental scientific research on the problem of monitoring the safety of a coal-mining region at the stage of closing unpromising mines. To achieve the goal of research - the formation of an effective methodology for this problem - the following main tasks have been solved: - assessment of the negative impact of mining operations on the technosphere of the region; - selection of the basic characteristics of the natural-technogenic system; - comparative analysis of methods and technical and technological systems for environmental control. The authors of the article formulated the concept of a safe region and the hypothesis of its implementation. In particular, scientific and methodological approaches have been developed that provide an objective assessment of the results of research and the adoption of managerial decisions on the formation of a safe environment for the life of the population. The article shows that the effectiveness of the developed methodology in specific conditions is 85-90%.

  • Modeling displacements of the soil contour of underground structures

The results of a study of the effect of hardening the roof of workings of small length, of arbitrary shape, with a cross section of up to 80 m2, with advanced anchoring, which can significantly reduce the displacement of soil outcrops, are presented. The analysis shows that it is not possible to completely eliminate soil fallouts; therefore, a complex of studies of a stress-strain (SSD) soil mass, reinforced with a protective screen, was carried out. Finite element modeling (FEM) has established that advanced anchoring up to 15 m long does not work effectively, since the anchors are located in the zone of soil slippage. Increasing the length of the protective screen anchors to support their ends outside the sliding prism makes it possible to increase the stability of soil outcrops in the face.

  • Scientific and technical substantiation of the mine water quality control system

The article presents the results of research work that provides a correct solution to the problem of assessing the quality of drainage water that is formed in the process of coal mining. In the context of this problem, the following main tasks have been solved: - assessment and ranking of technogenic factors of impact on the hydrosphere of the region; - selection of the main parameters of the environment for the development of research methods; - formation of models to substantiate the quality control of drainage waters. The authors of the article have developed scientific and technical solutions that represent an objective basis for interpreting research materials on the territory of a coal-mining region. The article presents the main results of the system analysis of experimental and theoretical studies. In particular, the authors show that the main types of models should be models of objects - sources of pollution, models of technogenic impacts and a model of a natural and technical system.

  • Environmental and economic development of the region

In the article the basic theoretical principles of forecasting ecological and economic situation in the region. Author set out to solve using synthetic forecast information , the application of which is justified by the fundamental scientific principles and conclusions based on the results of empirical research. Methodical approaches to the formation of a regional system of forecasting and assessment criteria of its effectiveness. Indicated that the effectiveness of the proposed predictive complex confirmed its practical use in the Russian Donbass. The conclusion about the possibility of forecasting techniques in other regions.

  • Scientific and technical support for closure of unviable coal mines on the basis of systematic analysis of information

Abstract: The article is devoted to the description of the results of scientific research in the field of substantiation of the programme of action in the restructuring of the coal industry. The main attention of the authors focused on ensuring the environmental security of organizational and technical measures. It is shown that the goal of environmental protection on the territory of the liquidated mines can only be achieved when forming the production program considering the results of a comprehensive study of the object and its relationship with the external environment (geo-environment, groundwater and surface hydrosphere and atmosphere) with using theories of system analysis and prognostics. In particular, based on the analysis of scientific publications on the subject and the results of their own research to determine leading factors of negative impact on life safety of the population and the requirements of the forecast system. In the final part of the article provides information on the implementation of the methodology of research into practice.

  • Theoretical and experimental bases of assessment of the arched part transport tunnels using the method of acoustic resonance inspection

The article presents the main results of theoretical and experimental research in the field of non-destructive testing and forecasting of geomechanical condition of the arched part of the transport tunnels. It has been shown that this goal can be to apply a method of acoustic resonance inspection. Methodology Research was registering the resonant response of the layered rock mass to impact mechanical excitation of an acoustic signal. Initiation and receive elastic vibrations produced in the lower layer of the breed. These technical and economic parameters allow to recommend Geophysical prediction described underground geophysical methods for wide industrial use during transport tunnels
