  • Overview: Advances and Challenges in Analyzing and Diagnosing Product Defects by Digital Methods

    The article provides an overview of the analysis and diagnosis of product surface defects, evaluated using digital image processing. The search for scientific publications was carried out mainly in the Scopus and RSCI scientometric bases for the period 2019-2023. The purpose of this article is to determine the best methods for assessing the destruction of materials using digital images. The main methods of processing and analyzing digital images are considered. The perspective of unification of segmentation modes by digital image acquisition sources and combining images from various recording sources to obtain objective information on the nature of material destruction is shown. To reduce the time for assessing the degree of destruction of materials, it is proposed to gradually use the methods of segmentation, filtering digital images of defects in metal products with subsequent calculation by a neural network.

  • Mathematical modeling of products made of composite materials with specified properties

    The main maintenance of a diversification of production as activity of subjects of managing is considered. being shown in purchase of the operating enterprises, the organizations of the new enterprises, redistribution of investments in interests of the organization and development of new production on available floor spaces. The most important organizational economic targets of a diversification of management are presented by innovative activity of the industrial enterprise.

  • Quality indexes and reduction of labor-intensive characteristics of researches for paint coatings by applying digital technology to surface analysis of coatings

    Annotation: The possibility of quality assessing of paint coatings by using the products surface conditions analysis through the use of digital technologies is shown. In the conditions of industrial enterprise, the comparative analysis of АК-1301 and Tikkurila Metallista coatings condition, exposed to aggressive environments: water, gasoline is carried out. From digital images of the surface, adhesive strength and the porosity of the coatings before-and-after the effects of the environments were assessed. It is shown that АК-1301 enamel has the highest adhesive strength and chemical resistance to water and gasoline.

  • Section of reconstruction of the highway on the Moscow highway in Samara

    The problems of reconstruction of transport infrastructure and road network in residential areas are very important. Transport directly affects the labor and cultural activity of the population, largely determining the technical and social progress of society. Transport highways and street-road network form the frame of the city, form its planning structure. Gravity retaining wall in cross section is a trapezoid with base width of 1.0 m and a width of the top of 0.3 m. the length of the angled sections of the retaining walls were determined from the conditions of placement of the pit for their buildings, side streets the Moscow highway and technical strip for lining of engineering communications. The front surface of retaining walls has a curvature of R=15.8 m. similar to the front surface of the side walls of tunnel overpasses. Frame retaining walls are an inverted U-shaped frame. The front surface of a retaining wall, consisting of paired radial curves of radius R=15.8 m and R=1.8 m. the curvature of the front retaining walls similar to the front surface of the side walls of the underpasses of tunnel type.

  • Wear resistance of the carbon electrical material by modifying novolac binder

    Prospects for manufacturing electrical investigated products based on modified copper oxide (I) a novolac resin. It is shown that copper oxide modification improves the physico-mechanical, tribological, electrical properties, resistance to mechanical wear and oxidation products of the materials. Introduction of coke in the material increases its durability when operating on the worn contact network. Trial runs have shown a trolley parks that the contact insertion trolley manufactured using a modified copper oxide (I) novolak binder in performance on average 2-4 times higher than the commercial materials of different manufacturers

  • Application of extra parts for the repair of gas turbine turbochargers boost  internal combustion engines (for example, TKR -6)

    The main resources are a turbocharger units are bearing unit and elements of gas oil seals. The article discusses various ways to repair and restore parts of the turbocharger. One repair method is a method of installing additional details. A review of options for its use. Identified the strengths and weaknesses are identified technological features of application. It calculates the magnitude of interference when installing doolnitelnoy, ensures reliable operation in all modes of operation of the turbocharger.

  • Final element analysis of strain-stress state of elements of crosscut power end of bus body in operation

    In the article it is reflected the results of carrying out numerical research of supporting capacity of side interfenestral bus body pillars. It is carried out calculating of detailed final element model of bus body pillars with considering the physical and geometric nonlinearity. The implementation of final element analysis of the stress-strain state of bus body pillars is provided for simple and complex bending. It is made the consideration of the influence of chemical material corrosion on stiffness and strength characteristics of the body pillar. Modeling is made with the use of opportunities of a package of the applied ANSYS programs.

  • Suggestions for assessing the strength of construction of passenger vehicles

    The authors propose a method for determining the total impact energy of a bus rollover to the conditions of the Rules of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe № 66 (UNECE) intended for the certification of passenger motor vehicles of category M3. Propose an adjustment to the formula for calculating the height of the fall of the center of gravity of the bus.
