  • Modeling of automated monitoring systems

    The article presents a set-theoretic model that generalizes the concept of a monitoring system. The model is a tuple that includes a monitoring object, the infrastructure of the monitoring system, initial data and monitoring results, and a set of relationships between the components of the model. Each component of the model is detailed at 1-2 levels of detail. For some elements of the model, examples from existing monitoring systems are given. The model can be used to create new or modify existing monitoring systems.

  • Conceptual model of data storage system functioning based on solid-state drives with deduplication technology

    The article proposes a structural-functional model of a data storage system based on solid-state drives, implementing deduplication technology to optimize the use of disk space. The concept is based on systems approach. The functioning model is presented in the form of interaction between the control subject (the system administrator) and the control object (the storage system). The system is exposed to external stream of requests from user applications over the Internet. The output parameters of the system include such performance indicators as storage capacity, storage time, storage cost, performance and reliability. The data storage system is presented in the form of four main integrated components, sequentially connected with each other: Network Service; deduplication system based on VDO technology; write management system, software RAID Control System; array of SSD drives. While the flow of requests passes through the system, the delay at each component is determined by the appropriate mathematical model. Such a structural and functional representation of the system allows applying the methods of statistical modeling and queuing theory to its analysis. The use of the proposed model will allow to design a data storage system of the given volume and service life with a minimum storage cost for a consumer with given performance and reliability indicators.

  • Navigator for the price of goods, "Smart purchase"

    The article proposes the concept of mobile Internet service based on a combination of the functionality of applications – aggregators of discounts and navigation applications with GIS technologies. The new application allows a potential buyer to make a list of necessary products, as well as a list of stores where he can buy them at the lowest prices, indicating the routes, time spent and money. The user can choose the most appropriate scenario from the proposed (minimum money, minimum time, the best option). It takes into account the characteristics of the buyer, its financial and transport capabilities, the required list of products, the available variety of stores, factors of attractiveness of stores (prestige, convenience, level of service, availability of Parking, etc.) Mathematical implementation of the service – optimization on graphs (search for the shortest path taking into account restrictions) and simulation of the behavior of customer flows when prices or store locations change.

  • Forecasting the number of employees in the Russian economy, taking into account the impact of the pension reform 2018

    The article is devoted to the study of changes in the number of employed in the economy of the Russian Federation, which should occur as a result of the pension reform in 2018. As the dominant deterministic factor of forecasting the average variant of demographic forecast of the population of the Russian Federation till 2030 is used. The factors of influence are the levels of employment in the context of annual age and gender categories. The growth of the average age of the employed population in Russia and the oscillating "sawtooth" behavior of the labor outflow coefficient during the transition period of the reform from 2019 to 2028 are shown. At the time of the reform, the annual need of the economy for personnel will significantly decrease, which will cause difficulties in finding work for the bulk of job seekers – graduates of the vocational education system, who enter the labor market every year.

  • Structural and functional model of modernization of the regional system of vocational education

    The article is devoted to the development of an effective model of interaction between the main participants of the regional labor market: the system of vocational education, the leading employers of the region and regional Executive authorities. The proposed structural and functional model includes a management system based on regional Executive authorities, a system for forecasting the needs of employers in key sectors of the region's economy, a system for assessing the quality of graduates ' competencies and educational programs, a system for monitoring the employment of graduates, a training system and a funding mechanism for the vocational education system, as well as a career-oriented Internet portal for informing the population about the future needs of the economy in the workforce. Using the proposed model of modernization will allow to bring into line the issue of the vocational education system to the needs of the regional economy, increase the level of employment of graduates and thereby increase the effectiveness of functioning of regional system of vocational education.
