  • Identification of concrete properties in beam type structures with defects based on dynamic methods

The task of identifying the properties of concrete and the location of damage in the layout structures of the beam type based on the application of experimental vibration analysis is considered. As a simple analysis model, beam constructions are defect-free and with defects. Based on the experimental approach, the model oscillations with shock and vibration excitation are analyzed. Based on analytical modeling, the dynamic modulus of elasticity, the speed of sound in the beam, the location of the defect are calculated. A technique and an example of determining the location of a defect in beam-type structures is presented. The article was published as part of the implementation of the program of the International Forum "Victorious May 1945"

  • Study of the structure of the contact zone in concretes with combined aggregates

The results of the investigation of the structure of the concrete, modified by the additive expanding, on the combined aggregate, which is a natural crushed stone mixed with crushed concrete, are presented. The study of the properties and regularities of the formation of the concrete structure is simultaneously a method of controlling their production. Regularities and reasons for the change (decrease) in the quality indices of concretes with a combined aggregate are established. Investigation and normalization of the properties of concretes on combined aggregates will allow using them along with traditional structural concrete.

  • The use of organic additives for the cement consumption

High cost and shortage of cement in the construction market of the Russian Federation determines the need to find ways to save it. One of the promising directions of improving the technology of concrete, providing the opportunity for significant savings of cement is the production of concretes of new generation. Such concretes are of high quality or highly functional. Mandatory element of the technology of such concretes is the introduction in their composition of organic additives (OMD). Using the methods of the experiment planning theory in the developed compositions of organic additives depending on the fineness of the mineral component and dosage of superplasticizer. It is established that the use of the proposed organic-mineral additives will allow to save from 15 to 30% of cement without loss of concrete strength.

  • The Usage of Loose Moisture Capable Materials in Concrete Technology

The high water demand of high-plastic and mushy consistency of concrete with high value of water-to-cement ratio leads to decreasing of consistency value and strength of concrete and also to shrinkage of concrete increasing. The known ways of excess water removal from the mix of concrete ingredients with water are labor-consuming and not always effective enough. We suggest the way of excess water removal using loose moisture capable materials which are enabled to absorb water intensively when contacting the concrete mix. The capacity of powder-like materials to absorb water can be evaluated with maximum molecular moisture capacity and maximum capillary moisture capacity measurement units. Also the criterion of water absorbing capacity of powders is suggested, and the most effective loose moisture capable material between others is defined.

  • A new method of preparation of fine-grained concrete mixes

"The article presents a new method for preparing fine-grained concrete mixtures. The mixture contains Portland cement, silica sand, disperse mineral micro stuff agent and additive superplasticizer. How micro stuff agent used opal - carbonate- kristabolitovyh kremnizemistyh flasks. As a plasticizer was injected superplasticizer POLYPLAST SP-1. New method of preparing fine-grained concrete mix is enclosed in a change of the order of mixing the components and homogenizing. The concrete mixture should be mixed in two stages. The first stage was stirred cement, micro stuff agent, a portion quartz sand and a portion of the mixing water. In the second stage added the rest of the sand, water and superplasticizer. Then finally all the components are stirred until a homogeneous mixture. This method provides reduction of cement consumption by 15% and the superplasticizer by 25%. The proposed method is protected by patent for the invention № 2535321. "

  • The impact of mineral micro filler additives on the properties of fine-grained concrete

In this paper, the influence of different types of fine ground mineral fillers. Additives introduced in the composition of fine-grained concrete. Selected effective filler based on the local opal-cristobalite of the flask. Set its optimal dosage. As a binder used Portland cement CEM I 42,5 R (Turkey). As the filler used local fine sand with a fineness modulus of Mк 1,12. As additives used opal-cristobalite of the flask, waste slag, ceramsite dust, ground quartz sand. The optimum number of flasks of 0.3 – 0.6 m.p. The use of the flask was increased about 2 times the strength of concrete in bending. The compressive strength increased by 40%.
