  • Research of existing approaches and development of a model of the scientific and production potential of the region in strategic planning

    The article synthesizes several approaches to the development of the social environment of neighborhoods and clusters, taking into account scientific developments in assessing the potential of territories in terms of building density, number of floors and capacity saturation of schools, preschool institutions and production areas. Options for implementing the strategy are outlined based on multi-product models for calculating capacity and scientific and production potential for the development of territories.

  • Selection of the composition of fine-grained concrete with the use of various plasticizers

    The article examines the influence of various superplasticizers on the performance characteristics of concrete. A series of tests of samples-beams of fine-grained concrete modified with plasticizers of various types was carried out. The optimal amount of the introduced additive was experimentally determined to compare the plasticizing effect of the cement-sand mixture. Experimental data are given indicating the main operational characteristics of the material depending on the additive used. The most effective additive "Polyplast SP-3" has been determined.

  • Using a method of reinforcing reinforced concrete floor slabs by adding transverse reinforcement

    Girderless ceilings have become particularly popular in the construction of civil buildings. However, it is often necessary to reconstruct them, namely, to strengthen the joint of the plate with the column. Both domestic and foreign researchers deal with the issues of punching. This scientific article is devoted to the study of the method of strengthening reinforced concrete floor slabs by adding transverse reinforcement.

  • Ways to increase the energy efficiency of a roof through the use of dome translucent solutions

    The general trend in the construction of unique buildings and structures is a high degree of glazing, so that the entire shell of the object can be a translucent structure. The object of the study was translucent roofs, which solve the problem of increasing the architectural expressiveness of the object and its energy efficiency. The research methods were theoretical and empirical methods, retrospective studies of scientific and practical results. The ideas about translucent roofing structures and materials, including domed roofs, are systematized, taking into account issues of energy efficiency and the microclimate of the facility. Modern architectural, structural, materials science aspects of the development of translucent roof structures are summarized; ways to increase the energy efficiency of translucent roofing have been identified. The results of the analytical review are of interest for the development of the theory and practice of architecture of energy-efficient objects with translucent roofing.

  • Comparative analysis of the designs of dust settling chambers for steel furnace emissions purification systems

    The main designs of dust settling chambers of metallurgical enterprises are considered, an analysis is given from the point of view of the type of metallurgical furnaces, their power, and schemes for removing gases from them to gas cleaning equipment. The movement of gas flow in chambers of various designs was studied using the SolidWorks software product with the FlowSimulation application, which made it possible to establish the behavior of the gas-air flow depending on the design of the dust settling chamber.

  • Activated dry mix for the preparation of mortars and fine-grained concrete

    This article presents the developed compositions of dry mortar mixtures for the preparation of fine-grained concrete. For the preparation of these mixtures, the technology of electromagnetic action on the dry components of solutions was applied. As a result of the use of a magnetic field to activate and increase the reactivity of the mixture, the physical and mechanical characteristics of fine-grained concrete have significantly improved. The increase in the compressive strength of the samples reached more than 70% compared to the strength of samples prepared using conventional technology without the use of magnetic treatment of dry components of the mixture.

  • The determination of the dispersed composition of the solid ingredients’ particles in the work area air and evaluation of the dust concentration’s meanings at non-stationary sources of emissions into the atmosphere of an electric smelting shop

    At the present stage of increasing competition, the increased level of threats to the economic condition of business entities in any sector of the economy requires special attention. Enterprises of this industry annually emit aerosols of various composition and origin into the atmosphere: iron, vanadium, aluminum oxides, manganese oxides and other heavy metals. One of the components of safety is environmental safety and ensuring safe working conditions. The chemical composition of the dust-gas-air mixture of metallurgy enterprises is considered in the article, and the dispersed composition of aerosol emissions is determined. The data of the results of microscopic analysis of the fractional composition of dust based on the data of integral dependences of the density of distribution by equivalent sizes (diameters) D for the ingredients accepted for the study allowed us to determine the average median values of equivalent dust diameters.

  • Modeling and calculation of new reinforced concrete slab

    The modeling and calculation of the proposed reinforced concrete slab using modern software systems are described. The description of the proposed reinforcement design is given. The results of the experiment on full-scale samples and the results of the calculation of the 3D model are shown. A comparative analysis of the data obtained during the experiment with the data obtained during modeling is performed.

  • Options of wash water reuse for water treatment stations

    The article provides an analysis of technological schemes for the reuse of contaminated water obtained after washing the rapid filters of water treatment plants. The advantages and disadvantages of existing options for reuse and disposal of purified and untreated wash water are shown. A new water treatment technology has been proposed, which involves pre-treatment of wash water with an organic coagulant, followed by mixing it with river water and subsequent reagent purification of the resulting mixture by settling and filtration.

  • Effective gypsum-free Portland cement binders with low water demand for building materials and structures

    The article shows the possibility of reducing the water demand of clinker binders based on gypsum-free cement with a multicomponent additive of technical lignosulfonate and an aqueous solution of sodium silicate. The possibility of obtaining composites based on modified gypsum-free cement with improved properties for building structures has been demonstrated.

  • Sustainable and regenerative architecture on the example of foreign experience in designing multifunctional residential complexes

    The article considers foreign examples of sustainable and regenerative architecture of multifunctional residential complexes. The purpose of the research is to identify promising trends, innovative approaches and distinctive features of each of the directions. Their main innovative solutions, advantages and disadvantages are revealed. A comparative assessment of both directions was carried out. As a result of the research, the continuity of the principles from sustainable architecture to regenerative architecture was revealed. The distinctive features of the latter are the practice of "replenishing" the environment and a larger scale of intervention. Interventions may include biomimicry to simulate nature, air purification in buildings, water purification structures or carbon-trapping architecture, etc. Shifting the emphasis from a sustainable architecture to a regenerative one will allow us to develop a more effective strategy for solving climate and biodiversity problems that society suffers from today.

  • Experimental study of the effectiveness of sorbents based on building binder mixtures and porous granular materials for cleaning supply air in buildings

    The effectiveness of air purification with the following sorbents has been studied: crushed expanded clay with granule sizes up to 2-3 mm, zeolite with granule sizes up to 1-3 mm, activated carbon with granules up to 3 mm, the natural mineral pyrolusite as a catalyst, Portland cement prepared using various methods: with the addition of a 6% solution of table salt, with soaking of granules in 26%, 31% and 36% solutions of diethanolamine. Studies have shown that the most effective (98%) use of pyrolusite granules, Portland cement granules obtained after mixing Portland cement with a 6% sodium chloride solution, soaked in 31% diethanolamine and then drying the granules at a temperature of 125 0C.

  • Information modeling of a complex-shaped building frame using an Autodesk CFD PC

    The article considers the information modeling of the building frame of a complex shape in the plan. The Dynamo program for Autodesk Revit is used to build the geometry. The main goal was to achieve uniform color pressure maps when blowing a building using simulation modeling in an Autodesk CFD PC. The research method is numerical (finite element method). The LIRA-CAD software package was used. The finite element method was used to select the shape of the building and adjust its design scheme to achieve reliability and efficiency. The analysis of the structural elements of the object on the effect of wind loads, taking into account the pulsation component of the wind load, is carried out in order to improve the design decisions made.

  • Environment under the influence of motor transport in the coastal zone of the city of Volgograd

    The article provides overview information on the importance of ensuring the environmental safety of environmental sulfur, on factors designed to counter the adverse effects of pollutants on the urban environment, aimed at creating comfortable living conditions for the population, and protecting the living environment from the harmful effects of transport. Information is provided on trends in increasing the anthropogenic impact of greenhouse pollution on climate change, Decree of the President of the Russian Federation (dated October 26, 2023 No. 812) on the approval of the climate doctrine, which will be the direction for further research into greenhouse pollution from motor vehicles, data from background stations of the Russian Federation are presented on the increment of CO2 concentrations in the surface layer and in the atmosphere, on the volume of greenhouse gases from the transport flow. Motor transport is indicated as the most influential factor in urban environmental pollution and the negative impact of polluted air on public health in Volgograd. The results of field studies of the intensity of vehicle traffic along the newly commissioned highway “0-th Longitudinal” in Volgograd are presented, a trend of growth in overall intensity, starting from 2019, and an increase in the intensity of low-capacity public transport along newly designed routes are revealed. The directions of necessary research to reduce the environmental impact on the ecology of the coastal zone are shown.

  • Architectural aspects of classification of small-scale energy facilities in the urban environment

    The article studies the peculiarities of architecture of enterprises and small-scale energy facilities in the urban environment. A number of problems arising in the interaction of small-scale energy facilities with urban development and their placement in the urban space are described. The prerequisites of architectural and spatial classification of small-scale energy facilities are emphasized. Classification of types of small-scale energy facilities by functional, urban planning, volume-spatial and compositional features is proposed. The requirements to the architecture of small-scale energy objects and their integration into the architectural and spatial context at the present stage are formed. The identified requirements and types of small-scale energy objects create a methodological basis for the formation of adaptive approaches and promising directions for the harmonization of these objects in the structure of urban spaces.

  • Nodal connection of reinforced cylindrical mesh shell

    The article is devoted to the development of a nodal joint for assessing the level of rigidity of a cylindrical mesh shell. Practical recommendations on the assembly of the tightening unit are proposed and the design of the screw coupling for the adjustable tension process is presented. The rational locations of the nodal joints on the lower belts of the support faces are determined. Numerical studies of possible schemes were carried out and the regularity of changes in the vertical movements of nodes from the end to the center was established. The positive contribution of reinforcing elements was revealed and the rigidity of the shell was determined. It is shown that the introduction of puffs with a developed node increases the level of resistance to operational loads and significantly reduces deformations in characteristic zones.

  • Geotechnical monitoring of anti-landslide structures by means of geodetic measurements

    The article discloses the content of geotechnical monitoring, which is an information base for the diagnosis of the condition of the object and the purpose, if necessary, methods for stabilizing the situation, as well as the need for its conduct at linear objects, That is, engineering defences. The analysis of data during the geodetic work on the object «Engineering anti-landslide protection of the northern slope of the Psehako ridge» with the description of the monitoring methodology, which consists of: reconnaissance of the area, development of a network of geodetic points, Taping of the tachemetric passages, taphemeter surveys and subsequent chamber data processing, which results in a report detailing all stages of work and directly concluding that there is or is not deformation. Based on the results of the field measurements, a list of tachemetric strokes, a list of coordinates of the zero cycle were compiled. The tachemetric moves are drawn in the *dwg format at a scale of 1:500.

  • Information modeling technologies in the formation of technological processes for the implementation of monolithic structures of a capital construction object

    Capital construction projects include buildings and structures whose construction has not been completed. Currently, in the construction market, software developers offer more than 160 variants of construction information models (hereinafter BIM-model) for a complex cycle of building construction systems. BIM in design is not only a tool that supports modern technologies for investment and implementation of construction projects. Using BIM technology that analyzes the schedule of disbursement of funds and deadlines for the current dates, it is more convenient to control investment projects. It becomes possible to carry out electronic document management at all stages of the project cycle, launch digital construction control, add and adjust model attributes.

  • Corrosion processes of metal waterstops

    The study is aimed at studying the corrosion processes of a metal waterstop inside technological seams in order to ensure its tightness and maintain performance qualities, since if corrosion occurs, the waterstop may lose its functional properties, which can lead to groundwater leaks. At the moment, there is no single source containing a complete set of information on corrosion processes in relation to metal waterstops, which leads to design errors, since it is extremely difficult to make the correct choice of metal waterstops, because it is impossible to analyze data and determine the parameters that determine the corrosion rate of metal waterstops in the technological concreting seam, it is necessary to take into account a large number of parameters related to the study of groundwater.

  • Dispersion-filled composite on carbon black

    The article shows the possibility of producing a composite using carbon black as a filler. Trivalent chromium oxide was chosen not only as a pigment component, but also as a light stabilizer. The results obtained allow us to say that the dispersed composition is efficient. Compositions based on carbon black and containing trivalent chromium oxide in an amount of 1% exhibit electrically conductive properties.

  • Increasing the accuracy of metalworking of oil and gas engineering parts by choosing a rational wear-resistant coating for cutting tools

    The oil and gas engineering industry is undergoing changes that are associated with the introduction of innovative technologies, methods and tools to improve production processes and systems. All changes make it possible to achieve an increase in the average resource, durability and profit of the enterprise as a whole. Processing parts of the oil and gas complex and reducing all types of wear on the cutting part of the tool currently remains the most pressing topic. The continuous operation of a cutting tool is influenced by many factors. The relationship between cutting speed and tool life allows you to select the optimal speed. The work identifies the main directions of research on the selection of wear-resistant coatings for cutters to improve the accuracy of metalworking. The research was carried out using modern computer programs, which made it possible to draw certain conclusions, derive dependencies and determine the range of tasks for further research. Application of the main results will improve the processing efficiency and surface quality of parts in the oil and gas sector.
