  • The possibility justification of using mining waste in the building materials production

In the production of construction lime, only a small part of the extracted raw material is suitable for the production of a quality product, while most of the production volume passes into the category of substandard raw materials. The authors of this article developed a project for the processing of carbonate-containing raw materials to produce lime for construction purposes. It is shown that despite the high level of risks and significant financial investments necessary for the organization of new production, the economic efficiency of such a project is obvious, since the costs of eliminating potential environmental disasters greatly exceed the costs of construction of the processing complex.

  • Technology design of the exploited roofs in a dense urban development

This article is devoted to the issue of rational exploitation of space in cities with a large population. It is known that a sharp decrease in the area of land plots within the city limits accessible to public use leads to a decrease in the quality of life of citizens. The authors of this article are considering in detail the possibility of using roofs as additional public spaces. The article discusses such methods for using roofs as solar power generation, rainwater harvesting, apiaries and poultry farms, sports complexes, playgrounds, vegetable farms, etc. Particular attention is paid to the so-called ""green roofs"", their design, classification, application. The authors of this article talk about the numerous advantages of green roofs, such as the ability to manage wastewater, reduce the influence of “urban heat islands”, create new public spaces, create new jobs, increase energy efficiency, reduce noise, increase market value, etc. However, the authors of this article did not forget to show the disadvantages of green roofs. The main disadvantages of this project are the higher initial cost, the increased load on the foundation and walls, and the increased costs of operation. Nevertheless, the authors draw conclusions that the advantages of green roofs far exceed their disadvantages and the further development of this direction is very important and promising. 3. Installation of active seismic resistance monitoring systems (active method). Such an active feedback control system contains three main elements: a. Sensors for measuring external excitation; b. Computer hardware and software; c. Drives to provide the necessary control forces. At present, the most popular is the hybrid method of semi-active control, which combines the advantages of a seismoisolating basement with passive shock absorbers, which is much more economical in comparison with the active method.

  • Organizational and technological solution for automation of production processes of reinforced concrete products and structures

The accumulated experience of the advanced enterprises of the construction industry and numerous developments of design and research organizations are the basis for the transition to full automation of production of precast concrete structures of the new generation, to the creation of automatic plants that perform the entire production cycle (from receiving raw materials to sending products to the consumer). Technical re-equipment provides a significant improvement in the activities of precast concrete plants, but does not create conditions for direct overgrowth. Automation of the process of production of reinforced concrete requires the use of automated tools to control the quality characteristics of concrete products, information from which can be used for optimal production management. In order to ensure the development of production of reinforced concrete products and structures by improving existing and finding new, improved methods of production of precast concrete products, it is necessary to use robotics, computerization and electronics.

  • The effect of dosage of redispersible powders on the properties of fine-grained concrete after repeated freezing-thawing

The introduction of RPP to 3% by weight of the dry concrete mixture is accompanied by a decrease in the compressive strength of fine-grained concrete aged from 28 days to 37%, and after 75 cycles of freezing and thawing - up to 46%. The decrease in tensile strength in bending at the age of 28 days was 25%, after 75 cycles - up to 23%. The dependence of the initial modulus of elasticity of concrete on the compressive strength remains virtually unchanged after 75 cycles of freezing and thawing. The dependence of the adhesion of MZB to the concrete base with increasing dosage of RPP is ambiguous. The maximum increase in adhesion to the concrete base after 28 days of curing in NU and after 75 cycles of freezing and thawing was 26%. An increase in RPP dosage to 3% leads to a decrease in the initial elastic modulus of MZB to 26% after 28 days of curing in NU and to 32% after 75 cycles of freezing and thawing.

  • Calculation of the main beam of the production building

The problem of calculating rods for vector perturbations consisting of five components is solved: 1. kinematic transverse vibrations of the left end; 2. kinematic transverse vibrations of the right end; 3. dynamic bending moment at the left end; 4. dynamic bending moment at the right end; 5 dynamic uniformly distributed lateral load along the length of the rod. The transfer functions from each disturbance are obtained separately. Using these functions, we obtained the elements of the spectral matrix for stationary random processes, taking into account their correlation. The most common types of processes are considered: exponentially correlated random process; process with latent periodicity (with characteristic frequency); truncated white noise. The formula for obtaining the dispersion of displacement of sections is shown.
