  • The analysis of distribution in the air basin of the polluting substances of urban areas containing in emissions of the fuel and energy complex enterprises

    In article authors considered the main processes having impact on distribution in atmospheric air of the polluting substances which are formed during the work of the enterprises of fuel and energy complex – boiler rooms and combined heat and power plant. Various changes to which are exposed gaseous and the strong polluting substances coming to the atmosphere with flue gases, and also the factors influencing dispersion and their concentration in the air basin of the cities are analysed. The climatic characteristics significantly influencing formation of pollution of the air basin of the cities are investigated. In the conclusion authors drew a conclusion that, despite an arrangement of installations of the centralized boiler rooms within an urban area or is close to it, decrease in pollution of the air basin of the cities in comparison with systems of autonomous heating of each house is observed.

  • Assessment of the environmental impact of burning fossil fuels at enterprises of fuel-energy complex

    In article authors considered organic types of fuel as the most widespread sources of obtaining thermal and electric energy at the enterprises of fuel and energy complex. The prevailing types of organic fuel – natural gas, coal, fuel oil are revealed, and also the composition of flue gases depending on a type of the burned organic fuel is analysed. So, when burning natural gas the main polluting substances are nitrogen oxides and carbon oxides. When burning liquid fuel oxides of sulfur and ashes are added to them. Coal burning, besides above-mentioned substances, leads to receipt to the air basin firm particles, particles (flying ashes) consisting from the zolovykh, not burned down solid fuel and soot. Negative impact of the enterprises of fuel and energy complex on environment components is investigated. In the conclusion authors drew a conclusion that, in comparison with other types of organic fuel, burning of natural gas does the minimum harm to environment.

  • Key Challenges for the treatment of solid waste consumption in the territory of the Rostov region and their solutions

    The analysis of the current in the Rostov region of solid waste consumption (TOP). The types for each stage of treatment with top - from the collection of top and ending their disposal, including disposal. The basic shortcomings of the implementation of each stage and the difficulties of the methods each of the stages. The main directions of solving these deficiencies existing in the Rostov region of handling top. In conclusion, it was concluded that the improvement of treatment should start with the top ""change"" consciousness of the people and persuade them to sort waste that will go to the task management system dealing with TOP in order to reduce environmental pollution in urban areas.

  • Experimental dust particle leakage’s evaluation through the wet separator in the decreasing dust aspiration system of cement manufacturing

    This article describes a way of reducing dust emissions of pollutions exhausted in the atmosphere in the manufacture of cement applying high effective wet dust cleaners with a combined scheme of separation of dust from the gas flow within systems cutting dusting aspiration. It was observed a short description of main technological processes, devices and related major sources of emissions and discharges of pollutants into the atmosphere in the cement manufacture in this article. It was described an industrial survey of a representative sample of aspiration systems and of cement’s enterprises using dust precipitators within those system. There concern the main results of the dispersed analysis of variance dimension’s particle of cement dust stemming and exhausting from the kilns in this article. There is describe a new wet dust cleaner cutting emissions of dust pollution aspiration schemes from kiln cement oven into atmosphere. It was fulfill experimental research to get evaluation of the leakage’s degree of dust particles mean as outlet exhaust’s coefficient for the elaborated wet dust cleaner. It was obtain treatment dependence of the outlet exhaust’s coefficient in the regression’s dependence as function of several parameters within research work field for this wet dust precipitator parameters. The tests showed that developed wet scrubbing dust collector reduced significantly cement dust emissions exhausting in the atmosphere and high degree of reliability one’s.

    The most important problem of the city is that of economic entities with emission sources, developing projects of maximum permissible emissions (MPE) on their own sources of emissions, and the effect of summation of pollutants from all sources combined into the atmosphere of the city today moment, unfortunately, has not been investigated. An inventory of sources of emission of pollutants into the air, the optimization of observation posts and conduct the calculation of the dispersion of pollutants in Volgograd help to display detailed picture of air pollution in the city. It was made the expediency for the development of new, more efficient construction of precipitators for de-dusting of dust and gas flows aspiration system in the production of expanded clay.   • Research of conditions and characteristics of operation of various types of landfills for disposal of solid waste production and consumption

    In the work pointed out that currently the most common method for the disposal of solid waste production and consumption (JET) is to bury them in landfills. The authors have studied the requirements for the placement of landfills for disposal of municipal solid waste production and consumption and concluded that most of the already existing landfills POMB not in compliance with environmental regulations, and the construction of new landfills have not been fully taken into account environmental aspects and factors. We also study the features of the existing types of landfills for disposal of solid waste production and consumption. In conclusion, the authors concluded that the device ranges JET shall be in accordance with the established procedure for the design, operation and rehabilitation of landfills for municipal solid waste with the obligatory account climatic features of the area in question, geological and hydrological conditions of the terrain and conditions to ensure environmental safety.

  • Ecological features of the impact of landfills on the environment in the regions where they are located

    Ecological features of the impact of landfills on the environment in the regions where they are located In the article the analysis of environmental problems arising from the placement and operation of solid waste landfills. The most important of them include negative impacts on various environmental components in the area of polygons. The result of this impact is the degradation of the existing ecosystem. Therefore, landfills should be considered as secondary sources of environmental pollution in the urban environment. Conducted detailed analysis of the technological operations of the process of waste disposal and assessment of the environmental impact at each stage. In the result of the analysis revealed that the greatest impact on the environment provides a plot of discharge, where discharged and compacted waste. This requires further investigation to develop appropriate engineering and environmental activities.

  • Analysis of solid waste production and consumption in the city of Rostov-on-Don

    The analysis of the main problems in the field of solid waste production and consumption in the city of Rostov-on-Don, determine the most important of them - the lack of separate collection of waste, low level waste recycling, insufficient waste treatment enterprises, inadequate coverage of rural service collection and waste removal, exclusion of large areas under waste disposal, illegal dumping. Studied the current system of handling tvedrymi waste production and consumption in the city of Rostov-on-Don, revealed its priorities, chief among them - increasing the share of industrial waste recycling and reducing the amount of waste to be disposed of. It is concluded that the lack of effectiveness of management of solid waste production and consumption and the need for a radical change in the existing strategy for waste management in the city of Rostov-on-Don.

  • Environmental and economic features of the system of solid waste management consumption

    In the article the analysis of the environmental features of the main stages of solid waste management consumption in the Russian Federation. Each stage has environmental and economic features of the implementation. Ecological features suggest danger in the form of toxic compounds, heavy metals, pathogenic microorganisms, as well as the negative impact of waste on the environment (aesthetically unattractive, unpleasant smell of the places collection of solid waste). In addition to environmental characteristics, the waste management system there are many economic issues related expenditure in a system of solid waste management consumption.   • Quality control of the production work on the consolidation of soil foundation using the GPR subsurface sensing

    The paper proposes to perform quality control of the production work on the consolidation of soil foundation with the use of the method. Application of geo-radiolocation sensing allows to specify and complement the results of engineering and geological surveys, as well as capture the changes taking place in the grounds of foundations after work on fixing them. This will provide a comprehensive picture of the grouting in the underlying foundation of the building and provide a reliable and simple quality control work.
