  • Pedestrian simulation in preparation for mega-events

    The paper presents the basic principles of using pedestrian simulation for the preparation and planning of mega-events on the example of the FIFA World Cup 2018. The processes are indicated, which require special attention in pedestrian simulation during mega-events.The parameters of the assessment of the functioning of the infrastructure, planning and organizational solutions during the mega-event are considered.

  • Deformation models of shock proof devices to protect the joints

    This article presents the results of tests of samples on the basis of equiatomic alloy with shape memory effect. The obtained system of dimensionless quantities that adequately describe the elastic-plastic deformation. It is established that the assessment of scale effects in modeling shockproof device-based alloy with shape memory effect leads to the technical ability of extrapolation of experimental results to other objects to generate the initial data of the mathematical model under the condition of similarity of characteristics of external loads.

  • The choice of the strategy of maintenance and repair of communications equipment at oil and gas enterprises

    To ensure the reliable operation of communication networks of the oil and gas complex, it is necessary to properly organize the process of maintenance and repair of equipment. As technology evolved, various strategies for maintenance and repair of equipment were developed in the industry, which improve the profitability of production. At present, a risk-based strategy is increasingly used. In practice, to apply this strategy, it is necessary to make a preliminary estimate of the magnitude of the risk based on the probability of equipment failure and the severity of the consequences of failure. As information sources, statistical data on equipment and failures, forecasts of technical condition and consequences of failures, simulation results, as well as expert estimates can be used. To simplify the process of analyzing input data and reducing the subjective uncertainty of expert data, it is advisable to use a decision support system that must rely on the apparatus of the theory of fuzzy sets and methods of collective expert assessments.

  • New technical solutions in different economic sectors. Part 1

    In this day and age the application of scientific and engineering inventions may further an effective solution of import substitution and increase in labor productivity. Invention is a new technical solution, having essential differences and a positive effect (new technologies, designs, substances). For instance, the technical result of the invention ""The production method for wire reinforced composite (RU 2619606)"" is the increase in durability of the reinforcing net due to the increase in binder adhesion to the bars, increase in thermal resistance of the net, and the use of simple production equipment. Practical implementation of this invention makes it much easier (unlike its prototype) toproduce wire reinforced composite under the conditions of a specialized enterprise. At the same time it becomes possible to solve a problem of connection durability and thermal resistance of a ready-madenet as in this parameter net connections go near the concrete.   • Modeling of the innovation component of the Balanced Scorecard IT companies

    A strategic map for the IT company was developed. The problem of modeling a balanced system of indicators for an IT company based on colored Petri nets is considered. To organize the analysis of the structure of the system of balanced indicators, the goals and indicators are presented in the form of a colored Petri net consisting of a set of classical Petri nets. To organize a vertical and horizontal analysis of the structure of a balanced scorecard, the goals and indicators are presented in the form of a colored Petri net consisting of a set of classical Petri nets. The model proposed by the authors of the BSC on the basis of a colored Petri net, reflecting the "horizontal" and "vertical" structure of the BSC, allows modeling the dynamics of achievement of goals and changes in the indicators of the BSC based on cognitive analysis.

  • Determination оf Body Mass Center Acceleration

    During the motion analysis (design, model, body) a certain amount of data in the form of accelerometer readings with increments of 0.001 seconds – about a million of lines. At any instance of time we have to solve the problem of determining the acceleration of specified point of the solid body, taken as the pole. Therefore, our goal is to reduce the time for each iteration for determining the acceleration of the given solid body pole.

  • PHIL simulation of multifunctional modular systems. Conditions for choosing a model

    In the article possibilities and elements for PHIL simulation of multifunctional modular systems (MFMS) are considered. For this purpose, mathematical studies of such systems were carried out, the tasks of their basic elements were singled out, and the main task was to create a universal modular model. The structure of the energy MFMS and its problems from the position of graph theory are determined. The analysis of the existing methods of PHIL simulation is presented, as well as the structure of the simulated fragment of the system at the junction of the two modules is defined with using the "coupling" method of the scheme. As a result, conclusions were drawn about the possibility of applying a PHIL simulation to the MFMS.

  • Selection of the segmentation algorithm to determine the region of interest of images of sputum analysis containing mycobacterium tuberculosis

    The basic methods of image segmentation are considered - the algorithms of Canni, Harris and FAST, algorithms for contour analysis. These methods are implemented using the C ++ programming language and the OpenCV graphics library. The testing of algorithms on sputum analysis images stained using the Tsily-Nielsen method was performed.

  • Neural network for parametric optimization in the problem of traffic management

    A problem of adaptive urban traffic flows control is considered. The traffic flow control is performed by the coordination of active phases of traffic lights. A control goal is to minimize the difference between the total input flow and total output flow for all subnetworks, while considering changing parameters of the road network. In this paper, a neural network approach for urban traffic road network parameters adjustment is presented.

  • Modeling of direct torque control system based on fuzzy logic control in Simulink

    Two different methods for direct torque control (DTC) of induction motor are analyzed. The first one is conventional DTC strategy. In this method, stator voltage vectors are selected according to the differences between the reference and estimated actual torque and stator flux linkage. Torque and flux errors are compared in hysteresis comparators. Depending on the comparators a voltage vector is selected from the inverter optimal switching table. The other DTC method, proposed in the paper, is based on fuzzy logic concept, where fast torque response with low ripple in the torque of induction motor can be achieved. In this technique, the hysteresis comparators and the switching table used in basic DTC are replaced by a fuzzy logic switcher. Torque error, flux error and stator flux angle are given as input variables to fuzzy controller and output variable obtained from the fuzzy controller is switching state of the inverter. To approximate nonlinear functions Takagi - Sugeno fuzzy algorithm is used. Simulation results show the efficiency of the fuzzy logic switcher.

  • Investigation of the influence of presowing microwave effect on the morphological parameters of germinating seeds of spring wheat

  • The optimal choice of semantic scales sociometry

    The paper presents the results of a comparative analysis of estimates of the levels of emotional perception, is satisfied in full and shortened semantic scales. The studies were performed on specific experimental data obtained in the measurement of deprivation attitudes of students Academy of architecture and construction DSTU at the end of 2016. It is found that the decrease in the number of signs in the semantic scale to the optimum leads to small changes in the assessments of emotional perception. At the individual level the changes are mostly (70%) not more than 10%,and in the whole group even less.
