  • The use of waste wool and feathers as sorbents of oil and oil products

    "Effective and affordable sorbents produced from natural organic raw materials and waste products of agricultural and livestock origin, because these sorbents are part of existing ecosystems and, therefore, best meet environmental requirements, in order to ensure the rational nature management and preservation of consumer properties of water resources. For the solution of actual problems, such as the removal of oil and oil products from water surface, as sorbents was investigated by the waste processing of leather and agricultural industries: wool (sheep and goat) and feather (chicken and waterfowl). It is established that application of organic and mineral acids at certain concentrations , for treatment of wastes from the processing of wool allows to obtain sorbents directional spectrum for removal of oil products (such as diesel gas oil and engine oil) and oil from water. The modifiers of wool and feathers obtained after the chemical treatment, was used to study the sorption of oil and oil products from water surface. It was determined by sorption characteristics of the modified sorbents, such as oil capacity and moisture absorption. The kinetics of sorption–desorption of oil, which showed that the greatest degree of absorption is observed for the first 10-15 minutes. It is found that wastes from goat and sheep wool have a 90% holding capacity that persists in time. It was revealed the effect of temperature on oil absorption capacity of the sorbent and the calculation of heat of adsorption. The temperature increase leads to a reduction of the capacity of emulsified oil, reducing the degree of purification by 15-30%."

  • Analysis of influence of parameters of net of eventual elements on the results of selection of longitudinal armature in a monolithic girderless floor

    The results of numeral experiment you show that to split beamless slabs on finite elements without the use of absolutely rigid bodies true the following statement: with the increase of the size of the finite element area is required for calculating the reference valve As.2 is reduced. In all considered grids with the area of the transition from AЖТ to the plate in the form of triangles observed the effect of the increase required for the calculation of rebar on the distance from the face of the column, which in our opinion is illogical and difficult to explain. The creation of transition zones with finite elements having dimensions close to the size of the AЖТ leads to low results and can not be considered a good solution. The transition from AЖТ to the plate with a crushing grid to a size equal to half of the column cross-section gives results almost identical with the variant of splitting the plate into finite elements of size equal to the cross section of the column without the use of absolute rigid bodies. Given the complexity of the representation of junctions of columns with plate type 3хАЖТ practical importance is a variant of the partitioning plates (in the node pair with the column) on a square (close to square) finite elements, whose dimensions are equal to the cross section of the column.

  • Stereovisualization the analysis results of geodesic domes of the projection system

    A description is presented of software to convert the results of FEM analysis in an external 3D format for visualization this results in stereo with the ability to display a grid of geometry and Mises stress in the form of a color fill. Developed a stereo viewer of 3D models in anaglyphs method with using shaders. Developed graphical user interface. Studies done of the influence of the scene parameters on stereo image on the projector. Stereo effect was achieved using 3D models with materials, calculation of specular light, replacing with a cyan on the green filter and made the design of stereo scenes for depth perception.

  • Coverage Guardial Elements Exposed To Local Forces And Their Calculating

    Construction of three-dimensional structures faces the need to cover the hard concrete layer with lightweight insulation and waterproof carpet. This combination of materials with different mechanical and physical properties requires the creation of methods for determining the stress-strain state of elastic composite layer lying on absolutely solid. According to these criteria the general solution of elasticity theory problem for each layer has been calculated. The system of differential equations is solved. A homogeneous solution can be used to study various problems of stress state in a layer. Formation of the problem of infinitely extending beamless surface has been drawn as an example. These solutions can be used in studding various problems of stress state layer. The solutions of engineering problems require the definition of complex roots of transcendental characteristic equation. In this paper, the roots were determined by Newton`s method. The obtained roots of the characteristic equation determine the stress and displacements in each point of a composite layer.

  • On one method of shaping constructive networks of polytopic inconspicuous domes

    A method for the formation of spatial configurations in the form of semiregular polyhedra is described. The algorithm of geometrical calculation allowing to determine the coordinates of nodes of constructive networks of polyhedral hemispherical domes, edge lengths, and the size of triangular faces is given. Spatial configurations in the form of 20-, 80-, 320-, and 1280-grannikov were obtained. The results are illustrated by two projections of the above-mentioned polyhedra. Geometrical schemes of sectorial parts of hemispherical domes on cutting of 320- and 1280-grannikov with designation of typical units and triangular panels are given.

  • Stability of previously compressed reinforcement in concrete beams

    Preliminary tensile steel bars, stacked in the tension zone of reinforced concrete structures, allows significant savings. Research carried out in recent decades, many scientists in the Russian Federation and abroad, show that the reinforcement in the compressed zone, subjected to preliminary compression, and is able to give a significant economic impact. This question has not been investigated. There is no justification for such a common attachment to the transverse reinforcement, especially when you consider that they work only in the short period of hardening concrete (28 days). It may be that there are extra expenses expensive metal, time and labor. These reasons impel to consider in order to create a mathematical model of this problem from the standpoint of structural mechanics and its decision.

  • The use of georadar in quality control of soil stabilization

    Possible ways of quality control of soil stabilization on the ground of geophysical methods have been analytically considered. The article focuses on the findings of the natural observations resulting from the changes of Q-factor value during the injectional soil stabilization in the regime of hydraulic rupture. The outcomes of authors allow to recommend the method of georadiolocation in quality control of soil foundation stabilization.

  • The calculation methods of reinforced concrete framed structures against progressive collapse applied for 17-storey apartment complex

    The calculation of multi-storey reinforced concrete frame building, consisting of apartments, offices and underground parking, against progressive collapse is presented in the paper. Two different ways of simulation of reinforced concrete building against progressive collapse are suggested, needed for estimation of survivability of building structures. The technique, which allows to carry out the stability of reinforced concrete structure to resist progressive collapse, is presented. This method is based on a nonlinear analysis of framed structures under the special load combination and includes dead and live loads, implying that the loading process modeling is fulfilled on the basis of the adjusted step method. The last one is of great importance for simulation of the processes in the whole life cycle of structures. The obtained results show that the offered strength calculation method of the framed structure against progressive collapse considers both geometric and material nonlinearity and also allows to assess survivability of the construction under conditions of emergency events and its stability to resist against progressive collapse. The step method of solving nonlinear problems, applied for modeling of collapse process, is shown to be more appropriate for these cases. We conclude that applying the proposed method of calculation results in more economic use of materials, giving evidence of its effectiveness.

  • Architectural design in the framework of the green building

    Investigated the regulatory framework used in the territory of the Russian Federation in the field of "green building" and energy efficiency of buildings. It is shown that is used as the most common foreign standards, and standards developed in Russia. The possible ways of achieving these standards using architectural decisions (the location of Windows, the influence of vegetation, building shape, comfortable layout, plastic facade, the use of traditional and alternative sources of energy, reducing heat losses through the building structure, ventilation, moistening of air in building in winter time, rain water use, non-residential floors with large terraces, ecological building materials). These methods include the application as a dependent and independent of electric power systems, it is necessary to choose the most appropriate energy efficiency measures (from the point of view of economy, comfort and sustainability). Shows the main technologies used to achieve energy component on the example of the nine-floor house.

  • About the results of preliminary tests of beams on the transverse force before strengthening them by the composite reinforcement.

    Have been given the substantiation of the need for preliminary testing of concrete beams on the transverse force. Their goal is to determine the effect of inclined cracks formed at the operating load levels, on the efficiency of the composite reinforcement in the near support sections.   The results of these tests, obtained with the shear span 1,5h0; 2h0 and 2,5 h0, that significantly affects the nature of inclined cracks. According to the results of an experiment formulated recommendations for the design of composite reinforcement.

  • Description of information links of "object" and "context" when èkorekonstrukcii man-made urban landscape

    Сonsiders the problem of ecological reconstruction of anthropogenic urban landscapes and critical areas. Use an approach based on "bio-positive" shaping. Developed system for monitoring man-made fragments of architectural environment allow to identify and record specific critical factors leading to unstable state . Ranking of the qualities of "critical areas" in the form of a "matrix" evaluation of technological properties indicates the field of the imbalance of urban environment. Identified based on this classification of levels of interaction between "object context" offers a very thorough assessment of the environmental balance with the subsequent conclusion about the possible strategy of ecological reconstruction in a particular case. The criteria and conceptual approach to the evaluation of the properties of man-made fragments of architectural environment can serve as analytic units in their restructure.Are man-made fragments of the city environment: "point", "contact", "clusters" . The indicated types of technogenic fragments are indicators of environmental conditions and tracteurs as region where it upsets the balance between architectural objects and forms of the urban landscape. The quality of the analysis and the stabilizing of discontinuance man-made fragments of the urban environment, the proposed methodology pre-design and design process of ecological reconstruction. Identified the methodology consists of analytical and implementation stages. Developed methodology pre-design and design process in ecological reconstruction can be interpreted as a method of complex architectural ecological reconstruction of critical areas and its return to a stable state

  • Hard drive cover of cross of light steel trusses

    To the design of roofs and ceilings of modern buildings have high requirements on the bearing capacity and the architectural expression. The article considers a constructive solution to the coating of the building with light cross farms. The spatial work of such coverage is provided by bonds arranged in two directions farms, perceiving external load. The increase in hardness of the coating leads to a decrease in effort in some parts of the coverage. This allows the use of thin-walled steel profiles with less consumption of steel to cover in comparison with splenomegalie rolling beams. It is proposed to use various options of the arrangement of spatial units: 18x18, 24x24, 24х18, etc. the Overall structural stability is ensured by the fact that the coverage is created a few of these spatial blocks around the perimeter. The calculations allowed us to obtain the optimal size and number of cells on which it is conditionally possible to divide the disk coating.

  • Comparative analysis of the efficiency of the use of caisson Skydome in modern multistory buildings with the standard columns step

    The market in Russia is common formwork caisson ceilings SkyDome system.In the article the question of the effectiveness of ribbed caisson ceilings in multi-storey monolithic buildings compared to with .flat slab floor. The program complex "Lira-CAD 2013" calculated the 18-storey residential buildings with monolithic framework. Consider in detail the reinforcement floors typical floor in two versions: a flat of 200 mm and a caisson plate of 50 mm and beams with a section of 200х350 mm with a step of 900х900 mm. Analysis of the results showed that in a building with columns a step of about 5 m difference in cost of materials for the manufacture of the overlap was about 1%. Efficiency gains are expected by increasing the span up to 8 ... 10 m
